Bought a couple of these in anticipation of a camping trip that never took place. We burn them on the deck instead - neither mosquitoes nor damnable black flies like these. The smell is agreeable and the wick crackles as it burns. Another fine product from Coleman - they lasted far longer than their size would suggest.
Nice smelling candle, seems to do the job.
We needed a small citronella candle for a little teardrop trailer with not much storage. Smell isnt awful!
We use these in our front yard at night if we go outside because of the mosquitoes and it really works.
Smells amazing and so compact for travel
Very effective while sitting down catfish in if ya keep the candle close. No need for repellent
I am not a fan of the smell but it was all that was left when I was shopping for citronella candles. They did their job of helping keep the majority of the mosquitos away.
