Perfect for small family or couple. Easy to clean and uses very little propane. I liked it so much I purchased a second one to take to our other house. When I noticed the price from Walmart online I knew it was a real bargain at $20 less than competitors. Once again, gets hot quickly. Cooks evenly and no mess to clean up. Cannot think of one negative remark except the cooking space is small but adequate for four people.
This grill is lightweight and fits perfectly into the bag that was designed for it. My grill arrived without a regulator, but Coleman has taken care of that by getting a regulator out to me quickly after I notified them. The grill cooks nicely, but you better not forget about your meat, otherwise it'll burn to a crisp in no time. It gets hot, and it's small, so tend your food accordingly.
Attaching the feet to the unit was the hardest part. But that was easy. Used it for the first time at a tailgating event, set it on a table, and everything worked fine. Could fit 8-9 hot dogs on the grill. Attaching propane tank was easy. Dogs did not stick to the grill surface. But a little bit of residue on the cleanup. Will try using foil next time. This grill did just what I wanted it to do. Cools down quickly and easy to transport. Very happy.
Used this tonight and it was great. Didn't think it was going to crank out the heat but five minute warm up with wind at the beach was too much, actually burned the burgers at first. Next time less warm up and then down to low instead of high. Its a 4 burger max. Glad it has the lid because it holds the heat it makes. Seems to barely be lit but I was wrong, thought it would be using propane like a torch but no. No mess like charcoal afterwards just cool it down and clean it later at home. Have the grill and belly of the grill in the dishwasher now the rest cleaned up quick with windex and paper towels. perfect for a dinner on the beach.
We camp a lot, my husband and I. We've been struggling with a cheap propane grill that takes two of us to light and goes through fuel like crazy. So.. after looking at other "big" names and the Road Trips, and other knock offs decided based on reviews to get this compact sized grill and the carry bag. It is a perfect size for grilling for the two of us. (Also, can be used as a stovetop.) Only takes one of us to light and after a week of camping and grilling had only used about half a small canister of propane. But we do precook some of our meals at home, so just need to heat and put a nice crisp or char on. Only drawback we have about it is the height limits when the lid is closed. Pork tenderloin didn't fit nor would a half chicken, so just have to cut meat down to size, but that is the tradeoff for quick cooking and being a great fuel miser. Easy to clean, light, and set up put away. Happy with this and
Awesome small grill, very compact yet plenty of space for an easy meal for one or two...practically anywhere.. table, tailgate, or even on the ground! More than enough room to grill more than enough food!
Great grill for tailgating. Grilled hamburgers great.
I chose this grill because it's small and the product details said that the inside parts are dishwasher safe. We used if for the first time on Sunday and here are my initial thoughts: 1) It's pretty tiny (one batch of asparagus took several rounds to cook, but 2 burgers and 1 hot dog fit well). 2) I'm annoyed that the sticky out part where you screw in the propane does not really fit in anywhere. Even when the grill is not in use there's not a good place to connect or hold it. And I don't really think you are supposed to move the grill with it attached. 3) The inside parts (drip pan and grill) went in the dishwasher and got clean-ish. My husband did seriously cut his hand on the rim of the drip pan, so be careful. Reading over this most of these look negative, but it did cook well and the red color is really pretty. I'm not sure I would chose it again, though.
We purchased this thinking it was fairly small,it's not The lock to hold the lid down is not tight and the lid will pop open while carrying it by the handle, letting everything fall out The directions shows a part that ours did not have so it was missing several sharp edges We looked it over and I walked around with it when it kept falling open,we put it bqack in the box We never tried lighting it. Patrs are not tight and it rattles like a bunch of tin cans
Bought this BBQ to carry along while traveling in RV. Works fine and cleans up easily. I would have given it more stars but I was somewhat dissapointed about the very thin an cheaply made metal parts. If treated very gently, I'm hoping it will last. Also, without the electronic ignighter, it is difficult to light without removing the grill. Otherwise, a nice lightweight little gas BBQ.
