Works as it should but product not as pictured. Not a big deal but need a wrench to tighten it instead of being able to tighten by hand as unit pictured can.
The adapter is as advertised except it does not have the rubber handle shown in the picture. You will need a crescent wrench to tighten the adapter.
Does exactly what it is designed for at a fair price.
This is the right adapter to connect your 20lb tank to refill a 1lb bottle. Or use it to connect a 20lb tank to whatever appliance uses 1lb cylinders with a hose. Works well.
save lotta money using 20 lb cylinder vs the one time use cylinders ,,,ie $3.00 gallon vs 15.00 gallon . but, if you don't need an 8 ft hose.,, the 4 foot charbroil hose/ adapter, sold at Walmart, is half the price.
I needed a adapter for a torch I bought to go from a one pound bottle to a 20 lb tank so it would last longer without switching. Works great!
I specifically purchased this adapter because the picture shows an adapter that can be tightened by hand. That is not what I received. The Coleman adapter I received requires I use a wrench to tighten it up. It wouldn't be a big deal except I purchased this to use with my pop-up camper. The propane tanks are housed inside a cover, that has multiple screws holding it in place, with a small access door on top. I have very limited space to attach this. So basically this adapter is useless to me unless I feel the urge to remove the entire propane tank cover. Not very happy. They need to change the picture.
