We've been researching inflatable spa's for well over a year now. After much deliberation we made the purchase, the box easily fit into our kia sole but needs two people to manage a lift. (Don't forget to pick up some chlorine tablets 1 inch size & test strips too). Ours didn't come with the DVD set up instructions so we watched it on YouTube are read the paper inserts. We easily had it up in 30min (we weren't rushing either) filling took about 2 hrs. Ours heats up about 2 or 3 degrees per hour (depending on the outdoor temp). We've used it multiple times & are not disappointed in it in any aspect! It's more durable than we thought & does exactly what it claimes! All our neighbors are envious & are looking into getting their own!
I purchased the Coleman lazy spa but was sent this model as a upgrade I'm assuming. I was nervous because I had done alot if research on the other model. I must say I'm very impressed. this model is 200.00 more so I'm not sure if it's a much better product or not but what a blessing. I suffer from fibromyalgia and have severe back pain. I needed a spa to give me pain relief. I live full time in an RV and this just plugs right in and runs great on a 50 amp hookup. no issues running it and all other appliances at the same time at all. the spa took about 20 min to set up. about 30 min to fill up and was ready to use 14 hours later at 104 degrees. I must say I expected the temperature to drop when we had the bubble jets on but it didn't budge. in fact,it was almost too hot. the temperature stayed at 104 for our entire use. about 25 min without dropping at all. it did wonders for my pain. why did I wait so long!!. it is very sturdy and will fit 2-3 plus sized adults or 4 thin adults comfortably. please be careful as we kept the floater with chlorine in it overnight and it was way too strong. so far we are beyond pleased with this spa. we live in Florida and is nice for evening use year round. The only complaint I have is with Walmart itself. do not use ship to store. took me over a week to receive it and they were the rudedt people ever. all the wait and stress wasn't worth the 5 bucks I saved. it is 100 pounds so just have it delivered to your home. I will never use ship to store again. I recommend this spa to anyone that suffers with chronic pain or just wants to relax.
We love our Coleman spa. Bubbles are great.... no jets, just bubbles. We live in Phoenix and it does take a good 24 hours to heat. It also will cool pretty rapidly. We go in and the temp is 104' and in approx. 45 minutes with bubbles going it goes down to about 99. It is a great little spa to go in for 30 minutes! For the price, we feel it is worth it instead of investing in a giant above ground spa.
Awesome should have bought years ago
This is perfect for me! Not to big and yet can share with a few friends. Not a huge change in electric bill either....
My kids and I purchased this spa for my wife as a late Mother's Day/Early Birthday gift. I have read all reviews for this item and others similar to it. The set up was very easy. FYI, put the round ground cover (it looks like bubble wrap) with the bubbles facing down. That way the rain water will not collect in-between the bubbles and turn slimy. I was really surprised at how firm the sides are when filled up with air. Fill it up all the way using the pressure gauge and feeling the sides. Next, purchase an adapter that you can attach to your kitchen faucet and fill with warm to hot water. This will save you a lot of heating time. Your outside hose will be around 57 degrees and it will take about 24 hours to heat up if you don't use warm water. We ended up emptying out some of the cold water and pouring in buckets of hot water. Also, be sure to clean the filters at least every other day if not every day. We really love this spa. It is very relaxing after a hard day at work. This spa was a surprise to my wife and she thinks it's the best gift we ever got for her. Buy extra filters online because I cannot find them anywhere else that are the right size. I'm going to post our video of setting it up on Youtube. I hope this was helpful and that you enjoy your spa as much as we enjoy ours.
Walmart hasn't posted my review yet, but this is a 2 week update, 6-23-18. Temp settings not accurate. I'll have it set at 102 and it goes up to 104°,, set temp at 96 and it drops to 93.. I'm using a all purpose cleaner to clean filters instead of a very expensive filter cleaner that I have also tried. I spray filters down, place in plastic grocery bag for 24 hours, rinse off.. might want to also check out salt rechargers instead of checking chemical levels all the time..
Getting service parts for the pump itself is next to impossible. Bestway colleague told me to look on eBay. They do not carry any parts and wanted to sell me the whole egg as a fix.
It only heats to 102 with the cover on once you remove the cover it drops to 100 degrees. The bubble feature blows ambient temperature air through the water so it drops the temperature pretty fast and I live in warmer climate. It's basically a semi warm kiddie pool... the structure is more than I expected but not heating up is a pretty big deal breaker.
Year one. Excellent service. Stored for winter. Year two. Pump started leaking when hooked up. Stopped leaking after two days operation. Stored for winter. Year three. Started pump. Leak began without stopping. Water level in spa lowered two inches due to pump leak. Pump unplugged. Determined that spa is a loss. Don't buy this pos spa. It will break your heart.
