This toothpaste actually whitened my teeth, unlike many other products I've tried. I got many compliments and questions asking if I had my teeth whitened at my dentist. I tell everyone about this toothpaste, it's that good. The only problem is finding it ay my local stores, so when it is in stock I buy like 4 tubes. :)
I started using Colgate Total when I had my braces put on 10 years ago and it really kept my teeth clean (braces have since been removed). I currently use the Colgate Total Advanced Whitening toothpaste and have used it for the past 8 years and couldn't have asked for anything better. I have used an external brand's whitening toothpaste here-and-there but nothing has given me the super clean feeling like Colgate Total. The mint flavor is also great. This brand of toothpaste can never end because I am a Colgate fan for life!
I've been using Colgate tooth pastes for more than 15 years and love the stuff because I have yet to get my first cavity. I used lessor brands as a child but started using Colgate Total Advanced Whitening when I was started living on my own. Great stuff!
The toothpaste is really terrific, but the packaging is absolutely terrible. Crumples, paste leaks out and makes the package sticky and the cabinets and counters sticky too. Upside down design is fine, but the aluminum foil packaging just crumbles. Rating is for the paste alone
I have been trying different brands and types for 2 years now. I am on my second tube of this toothpaste. It controls odor and whitens well. When I smoked I was stuck on colgate optic white but i quit smoking! Phenomenal products. I originally chose this one, after 5 other ones, because of their listing on the ADA website and moderate RDA value. I love this product. It just plain works and is 1/3 the price of Rembrandt.
I really liked the toothpaste because in just two weeks, I could see some incredible results that got me compliments. When I went to the dentist, he was very pleased. When school started, all I got were people telling me how white my teeth are. I used Colgate Total Advanced Whitening
I love colgate toothpaste and have been using it all forever. I can not seem to find the blue gel advanced total toothpaste anymore. It all seems to be green and I don't like it. Did you quit making it? If so please start again. That green stuff does not taste the same. I like the peppermint flavor.
I lile this toothpaste,but I have seen other toothpaste that whiten teeth a bit more effectively, but it is great value for you money, my whole family buys them in bulk! The one thing I would like to see, is more effective whitening. Everyone says their toothpaste is the best, for whitening and bad breath, ect. Colgate lets prove it! :) Show the other brands how to do it!
I've been using Colgate products my whole life. Recently I noticed that the toothpaste dries out and solidifies quickly, making it difficult to securely close the flip cap. Need to clean the cap of hardened paste frequently otherwise can't squeeze the paste out. Has there been a formulation change that causes this? Waste of toothpaste and inconvenient.
I have used this product & the gel one for YEARS & never liked another tooth paste! They recently updated the formula & I could tell right away something was very different. I gave it more chances but then noticed bumps under my tongue & on the roof of my mouth. Still used the tooth paste not thinking anything. Then I felt a cut feeling under my tongue & sides of my cheeks. I then noticed my lips felt weird & my mom is a Registered Nurse & she looked & said my bottom & top lip inside are burned! I was shocked & had to throw the tooth paste away before it got worse & more painful or anybody in my family used it! Now I have to find a new tooth paste after 5 years every day use of this stuff well, the old formula. Wish you wouldn't have changed it!
