absolutely awesome, your children will love to color and build with this car
We have had a blast coloring my son's new favorite toy, and he loved personalizing it! I had some trouble getting the tabs through the holes, but with a little patients ~ I quickly figured it out. This car is plenty big enough for my 7 year old. I purchased a couple of extras for my nephews, and I can't wait to see them personalize theirs! Great idea for little boys!!
My boys and I really enjoy this car!
Totally was within expectations. The little boy is 5 and he loved having the space to color and pretend to drive his vehicle.
These cars I got online on clearance for 5 dollars apiece, I bought 3 for my kids 7,8,9. The cars are not hard to put together but come with nothing to attach the lights on. The are pretty flimsy and easliy broken. they all lasted 2 days of normal play til they came apart and ripped. If I had paid more for them I would have been dissapointed. Fun while it lasted.
I'd only buy this on sale since it's not the most sturdy cardboard. I left it for an 8 year old and a 5 year old to assemble and they needed help right away. It's not obvious how the sides fold in and a couple of the tabs ripped off when they were trying to shove them in. So it's probably better for an adult to assemble or an older person with more patience and coordination. Even though the cardboard isn't sturdy, I would still recommend it because the finished product is fun and it held the interest of the children who were coloring it and putting it together "on their own." I used tape inside and out and glued an extra sheet of cardboard to the sides so that babies could play with it too. I'm thinking of cutting a door into it so they're less likely to smash it when they go inside. I'm also thinking of somehow gluing cardboard tubes to the inside front so it's harder to crush. Not sure how long it will last, but the novelty of it was worth what I paid.
The sale price of this car is great, but the item is a hassle to assemble and does not stay together. It landed in the recycle bin the same day it was opened.
