my daughter (9years old) loves it, is easy, fun, and when we run out of bands we use it with left over yarns. we sew together the squares to make decorative pillows cases, bags, mini blankets for dolls, decorations mosaic on the wall ... we love it , fun thing to do on winter time.
There is no way the intended child could use this and be happy.

While it seems nice in the picture. It is not that easy to work with. There are no hinges to keep it from flying off the loom. I have lost several loops while trying to use the loom. Due to them flying off everytime I tried to stretch it through with the tool. The strudy hard plastic of the loom it self is okay other than there are no groves on the pegs on the outside to keep the loops on the loom while working with it. I'm sorry but I cannot recommend this product.
