I never believe the hype that a paint will cover with one coat, but this proved to be the exception, and it wasn't even advertised to do that. This paint was very thick, but it still spread and covered very well. I have enough left to do a second coat but decided it didn't need it and wasn't worth the effort. (I'll use what's left for some other projects). It's just a shame that they closed this out and the replacement's price jumped from $68 to $98. Definitely my best paint buy ever!!!
