THIS IS THE BEST WATERPROOF MATTRESS PAD I OWN IN PAST TWENTY YEARS OR MORE.THE LAST GOOD ONE I OWN, WHEN IT STARTED WEARING OUT I WOULD ASK MY SISTER TO SEW IT BACK TOGETHER. I HAVE NEVER SLEPT SO GOOD ON ANYTHING BETTER. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS MATTRESS PAD TO ANY ONE WHO WOULD LIKE A QUIET RESTFUL SLEEP. LIKE SLEEPING ON A CLOUD.
I have a twin hospital bed and bought a memory foam mattress pad to put over the cheap mattress that comes with it. Ordered the twin xlg mattress pad to fit over both to keep them from slipping and wanted a pad that was soft on the outside and without all the crackling of a waterproof pad. Love this one. Showed my PT and gave her the info where her patients can purchase them. I bought a 3 lb memory foam mattress for my back and hip pain. It fits right over the top of the hospital mattress and both fit inside the mattress pad. Soft and comfy. Just remember to wash the pad in cold water so it doesn't shrink. Now I can even sleep on my back without pain.
I got this for my toddler as we were transitioning her to a big bed and are using a futon. I wanted something waterproof and fluffy since the futon is kind of hard. This works perfectly! It protects the futon and makes it softer. Of course my toddler peed it the second night, and it kept the futon dry, and washed and dried fine (in cold water/low heat).
I love this pad. It doesn't make any noise as I sleep on it. It has a nice padding to it that makes it much better than the thin ones of old. The padding give it breathability (if that's a word) and you do not sweat on it like the thin ones of old. Thanks Walmart.
This product is amazing. It is not like all of the other plastic uncomfortable smelly mattress protectors. This actually adds a layer if comfort and padding in addition to protecting the mattress from bed wetting accidents. I am going to by a few more of these for sure!
Great price, good quality material, good workmanship. It fits the mattress perfectly. Very comfortable to sleep on - doesn't make any noise. I was afraid the side fabric that holds it to the mattress would be thin and flimsy, but it's strong and sturdy. Haven't had the opportunity to test if it is waterproof as yet - my dogs haven't had any accidents lately, but I wanted to be prepared just in case. Saved $$$ by not buying the one I saw in Macy's.
Thicker than I had expected. very soft and comfy. No plastic sound or feel to it with a fitted sheet on. We have a young puppy my kiddos were playing with on the bed and she had an accident. I thought for sure the mattress was ruined but not even a drop went through this mattress pad! I would absolutely recommend this product.
I got the mattress cover for my king size (large depth) mattress. The last cover I had did not stay on well because it couldn't reach down over the big depth of the mattress. This cover fit perfectly and I was so excited because it was nice and soft too........... but then I washed it and guess what, it shrunk........ A LOT!!!! It's now not even big enough to fit on my queen size bed. In all fairness, I did use hot water and I did dry it on high heat (which is the setting for "whites"), but after the fact I saw the small tag that says you should wash it with cool water and with low heat and remove immediately from dryer. Boo!!!! Maybe if I had done that it wouldn't have shrunk as much or at all.... now it's completely useless for my bed and I've only had it for a month. Very sad. :(
I thought it was very good but after I washed and dried it, it melted together and very hard to take apart.
We did not even use this to try it out because a huge yellow stain was in the middle of the mattress protector. Did someone urinate on this and send it back? And then it was sold again? Disappointing and unhygienic. Other than that it looked like it would have been a great product made of good quality.
