This figure is totally awesome. It looks like it could spring to life any moment. Hasbro has put in a lot ot detail on this figure as well as all of the movie series figures. The only down side is That it might be a little difficult to transform between robot mode to vehicle mode even for a 5 year old. However if you are into "Transformers", this is a must have

Ironhide looks very much like his counterpart from the movie. The directions for transforming from robot mode to vehicle mode is somewhat hard to follow (same with most if not all of the movie Transformers). Some of the more difficult parts of transformation are not clearly illustrated on the instruction sheet. If you cannot figure out which joint needs to be turned or bent ini the specific direction, your Transformer will not look or fit the way it should be. Overall the figure looks very nice and captures the movie version quite well.
