This is just what I was looking for, a printing calculator with a large enough display that I can read. I use the printer feature when I’m calculating my monthly bills. This is the perfect size for my desk at work. The buttons are large enough to hit and yet not to big to make the machine too large. Definitely a keeper.
The Calculator with 12 digit printing, LCD screen that prints in two colors is great. The AC adapter that is included , makes it easy to use. It is just the right size, takes up little room and is easy to read. i would recommend it to anyone needing a calculator.
Every desk needs a printing calculator. I got the black styled CP-30A. It is also available in Blue & White color choices. A built-in printer features 2-color printing, Red and Black on standard 57MM wide paper rolls. Briefly the unit includes the AC Adapter plus the option of using 4 “AA” batteries, not included. The LCD boasts a large clear 12-digit display. The keypad has 35 good sized 17MM keys spaced perfectly to avoid errors. I also liked the input buffer of 7 Key operations. This means that while other operations are being processed you can continue to input data the calculator will keep up with you. This is a sturdy lightweight attractive and compact unit of 434 grams or about 15 ounces with paper roll.. Great For Taxes , Bills, Balancing A Checkbook , Bookkeeping .
I am glad someone makes a large LED display screen that is easy on the eyes. This calculator is very fast to compute, light enough to move/carry around, and accurate. The paper is easy to feed, no hassles, and it comes in different colors, too!
This is perfect for home, office, or travel. Small footprint 6 1/4" W x 8 1/4 L x 2 1/2" H ( at highest point). Light weight, one hand to hold move, battery (4 AAs) or plug in AC adaptor. Does say unplug adapter when not being used, easy enough - just to remember til becomes a habit. Make sure calculator is in "OFF" position when plug/unplug adapter. Auto power OFF after 3-10 minutes of last operation, when re-start, retains memory content and decimal setting. Read out to 12 digits, has Input Buffer of 7 key operations, continue on while buffering previous inputs. Total of 21 key features from on/off, so many to list here, includes, rounding up, rounding down, rounding off. Can calculate with printer on or off, (tho think with printer, could see inputs) cost/sell/%of profit, date entry, w/wo tax compute, decimal set to 4 digits, does stress - don't use "print" unless paper in roller, failure observe this warning will damage print head. This is more than adequate for home/office use, even for CPA types of calculations. comprehensive pamphlet is included that explains all, gives examples of how to use more complex example, i.e., SELL, MARGIN, COST different valuations. Calculators that do this much, including printer have come such a long way since 1st on market decades ago - would highly recommend this for anyone buying new or replacing - will be set long into future regardless of need - from basic to complex.
This has to be one of the best personal business calculators I have had in a long time. It’s very lightweight and easily held in one hand. It has so many features and once you know them it is a breeze to use. I like that the read out is twelve digits and has the capability to round up or down or off. This has become my go to calculator and have even used it at my annual garage sales. It is perfect for home, office and even travels. I would definitely recommend this calculator as it is awesome.
I’ve owned dozens of calculators over the years. Calculators do what you’d expect them to do. This calculator has one feature I haven’t seen before. Maybe I haven’t been paying attention, but it seems this calculator is designed with the small business in mind. It is manufactured by the Catiga Company, and it is the CP-30A model. It boasts the ability to determine the margin between the cost of an item and the sale of the item. I know, if you went to grammar school, you could probably figure that out, but I know that sometimes, I have a lot on my mind, and I don’t always have the presence of mind to think clearly about little things. Sometimes, it is nice to have a feature to do the little things for me so I can focus on other things. This calculator is a printing calculator, so you can tabulate everything, and then print it for your records or book keeping. This calculator can provide you a way to keep your small business records neat and precise. It has a 12 digit display, so it can handle every sale, big or small, and all records whether they are monthly, annually, or over ten years. This model even has the ability to program in your local tax so you can use it as a Point Of Sale calculator in combination with an electronic payment collection device. As an added bonus, this calculator is affordable. I would recommend it to small business owners who are needing to save money wherever they can.
I would say it's a good budget quality printing calculator. It works good prints in 2 color battery life seems good. I recommend it for a small biz or home use. It will serve you very well I would say.
First thing noticed was something (think piece of plastic burr?) rattling around inside the unit..and couldn't be disloged. After assembling--back cover, electric plug (batteries not included, but recommended if only to give the unit 'weight'), I inserted paper per instructions, and turned machine on. It's quite noisy, somewhat expected, and worked okay for the simple test I gave it. Not loving the cheap feel...I remember machines when the plastic was substantial in feel...this isn't it. However, it does work, but I think if you do a lot of work calling for this type of unit, you could do better just for quality.
