It wasn't for me. It was a gift to another person.
Excellent product. Very sturdy, well built with quality material. Easy assembly right out of the box. Easy to read and understand instruction booklet is included. I checked this mobility walker/chair from top to bottom and found no flaws in construction or issues with performance. This is the "Uno Classic" model rollater by Comodita. Total weight of 19.5lbs assembled. Reinforced frame has a 300lbs weight capacity. 16" wide orthopedic seat and removeable, cushioned backrest. Handbrakes allow the user total control of stop and go movement and the cables are run thru the frame instead of along the outside of the frame which is really nice not getting tangled up in cable and gives the frame a nice, smooth and un-obstructive surface. The large 10" front rubber wheels and the 8" rear rubber wheels gives you extra support and control when maneuvering and allows you to cover rough, textured surfaces with ease, unlike plastic wheels would. The under seat storage bag is roomy enough to carry a small portable oxygen tank/generator or other personal possessions. Also comes with a handy cup holder and a holder for a cane. I use this for a relative with RA who needs the extra support while walking and also be able to sit safely, comfortably and securely when walking becomes difficult. So much better then just a walker and way less heavier and cumbersome then a wheelchair yet you get the benefits of both. I highly recommend this product.
This rolling walker is very sturdy. It weighs 20 lbs so I won't be hauling it into and out of cars. It can hold a 300 lb person so it must be strong, hence why it's heavy I suppose. The candy apple red color is very eye catching. Quite stylish considering it's a rolling walker. It rolls beautifully, the wheels glide along. It's very easy to move. The seat is ample, quite wide. The backrest might be a bit low for someone who isn't stable sitting up. as long as you have someone to move it into the car or trunk it would be a great device. The seat lifts up for more storage than you'd expect. It's a great place to put your purse so someone won't be snatching it from off the arms.
I ordered the Comodita Uno Heavy Duty, what I actually received is the Comodita Uno Classic. Im not complaining because after a through comparison I cannot find any significant difference between the two models. In fact the Classic is listed at a higher price everywhere on the web. I give the Classic 5 STARS because its a fantastic Roolator. This thing is definitely built to last.
I really love this Rollator. But it has one major issue. The arms collapse. The adjuster and fastener for the arm is flimsy. And it comes loose often. This Rollator is made for tall people. The west is high. If youre shorter than 6ft your feet will dangle. Seat cannot be adjusted. Only arm bars can be. But I like everything else about it. You will have to return for arm adjustment repair or rig it yourself somehow so arms wont collapse.
This was a good choice. It moves well, seat comfortable and roomy. A bit heavy to hold when on public transportation. On a crowded Manhattan, NYC bus, it's a little heavy to hold folded.
