This protein powder works easily in a smoothy all through the day is a great source of protein as well. It doesn't change the taste of the smoothy which is what my husband & I like. It can go into a fruit smoothy or a veggie smoothy leaving the taste unchanged.
I relied on the Plant Fusion protein shake back when it was readily available in Canada. It helped me through the worst years of fibromyalgia when, due to digestive issues, I was protein deprived. I was happy to see it available at Walmart. But the price, and that it ships from the US, will prevent me from ordering it on a regular basis. While there are many protein shakes on the market, I like that this is vegan, dairy free and gluten free. Most importantly it does not contain rice. Rice contains a high level of arsenic. And CBC's Marketplace demonstrated that even so-called healthy baby foods with rice contained a high level of arsenic. Poor children!!
