I purchased this tub mat because I wanted something "pretty" to cushion the tub other than the usual boring tub mats. This fits perfectly, cushions nicely and looks "pretty." I would recommend this product.
Good bathtub mat.
Originally I wanted a mat that was either square or round to fit most of the floor of my shower stall, with a center hole for the drain. But those mats cost more than this one. By positioning the oval diagonally across the stall floor, I can have it under both feet. The lack of a drain hole doesn't cause a problem since the water still drains during showers without building up in the stall. Also, the directions say to rinse and hang dry the mat after each use, which I did; so as long as you do that, there should be no problem with mildew/mold. The clear, purple, and blue mats were a higher price, but the teal was discounted and is a very nice color. When I first unrolled it for use, I followed the directions to wet the shower floor first and press down on the mat. I still found it a bit hard to get the suction cups to grip the floor. I stepped in with my shoes on (with the shower off!) and stepped all over the mat to put enough weight on it to make the suction cups stick. That worked. Then I showered with it and felt much safer from slipping. I think the initial problem was probably because the mat came rolled up. I hung it to dry over the shower rod, first with the narrow width over the rod; then once it had dripped dry, I turned it to hang with the wide width across the rod. I think that will straighten it out for future uses so it will adhere to the floor more easily. Will update if it doesn't. Mainly, I'm satisfied with this mat's performance and especially appreciate its low price, which was my deciding factor when ordering.

very pretty, but wish I'd gotten the larger one. Stays nice & clean with just a rinse after each use. I had the 'grass' mat & not only did debris get tangled in it, it discolored quickly, even with vigorous scrubbing! I never could get it to look like it new & it always looked grungy - yuck!
this is a great mat if you want to slip and fall and break your neck
