I bought this because my 9 year old wahl peanut stopped working well, and I wanted a cordless head shaver. I'm a Buddhist nun who keeps her head shaved. The first use was the longest it ever took to shave. I wanted cordless so when I travel I can shave easily, many temples lodgings have limited electric access. It's a little bit of effort to be slick bald like it says but really close to razor shave like it says. Price is fair and worth it!
I have been looking for a new product for easier head shaving. This product I found by accident and after not being able to find it anywhere locally, I purchased this online and picked it up from my local Walmart. The Clean Head shaver is easy to use and gives you a near-blade type of shave with no discomfort. If your looking for a new head shaving product, I can definitely recommend this. The dual angle shaving foils and guide rollers make quick work of the stubble on your head. I have not used the trimmer attachment since I ysually use WAHL "Balding Clippers" before using the Clean Head shaver.
I bought this product for my nephew for Christmas and he said it was the best clippers he has ever used. I am very pleased with this purchase.
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband and he doesn't have a bad thing to say about it. It holds it's charge well (though we're still on the first one), and it's cordless which means it's easier to go somewhere to shave that is easier to clean up.
I was sceptical of this shaver for sure. I've been shaving my head down to the wood for almost 20 years, and in the last year started using the headblade razor, which I really like. For under $40, I did not expect much from Conair, but boy was I surprised. It shaves close, REAL close, not as close as a blade, but close enough to not matter. It fits great in the hand, and really holds a charge well. Its easy to clean which is a plus. First couple shaves took a while, but got quicker as I got the hang of it - circular motions worked really well. I foresee this being a great timesaver.
Wish I had tried this shaver before I spent money on other products that nick and irritate. The "Clean Head" shaver does what it claims. I recommend spending about 10 minutes or so and going slowly. Listen to the sound of your whiskers cutting. Then feel the smooth! Don't expect it to cut down to the skin on the first pass. After a few minutes you will be pleased. Cuts close enough to satisfy any clean shaven head fan. I also enjoy the scalp massage effect that comes as a bonus. Hats off (literally) to Conair for a job well done!
This is a great head shaver for the price. It fits in the palm of your hand and is eazy to use. It has a very good battery that last a long time between charges. If you want a nice clean close cut, this is the shaver to do it with. I use mine every day as suggested.
I recently started shaving My head.Razors took too long and I was going thru one each time I shaved.I used electric razors on My face before but wasnt happy with the results. So I took a chance and My Wife and Kids got Me this for Fathers Day.This went above and beyond My expectations.I could not believe the results.I was amazed. This product did exactly what it said in a quarter of the time it was taking Me.They ordered on a Friday and it was here by Monday.I never really take the time to write reviews or anything like that but I must give credit where credit is due.GREAT PRODUCT!!!!
So far so good. It's works great. Make sure to fully charge it over at least 16 hours before first use. It takes a few times to get the hang of it, etc. I recommend going in a circular motion on your scalp for the closest shave. As other users indicate, I wouldn't go any longer 3 days between uses. If you're hair gets too long, you will need to use the trimmer attachment to cut it short enough for the shaver attachment to be effective. Don't forget to pop off the shaver attachment and clean out the hairs after each use, I've found this helps get a closer shave. Good product. I would recommend.
I've wanted something like this since I put a Braun facial shaver to my scalp only to see the foil and blades wear out in a week. I haven't worn out my Conair yet but it has been so brutal to my scalp I can't use it as consistantly as would be needed to keep my head completely bald on a daily basis. Maybe my scalp still needs to re-adjust just like the directions say for almost any electric shaver. I hope that is the case otherwise I cannot give this a higher rating, on such short notice.
