this is an exelent product, this one is a x-mas present, but i have had mine for about 5 years now and it still works like i bought it yesterday
I had never used a steamer until we built a house and had multiple rooms of drapery that needed “de-wrinkled”. With 11 foot ceilings our window treatments were long and ironing them was not an option. This worked great and the accessory to add creases was a life saver. I will never iron again!
I have owned and used professional steamers for years. My expensive steamer finally died and I took a chance a replaced it with this one. I am very impressed it works just as well as the $200.00 ones. The only difference is the body is made of plastic and not metal.
I purchased this product mainly for my curtains and drapes. Works really well, but the hose is not long enough to reach to the top of my curtains. Works great on clothes.
This is a good steamer for the price. It is fantastic for pants and most shirts. However, if you've got an item that has lots of pleats or creases that don't hang just right, it's nearly impossible - with ANY steamer. Don't throw out your iron, chances are you will still need it. But in MOST cases the steamer is a joy and a time saver.
Bought this steamer two weeks ago at Walmart because I tried my daughters and loved it. Will it replace an iron, no, but it's great for the clothes that you take out of the dryer, such as tees, cotton pants, etc. It takes a good percentage of the wrinkles out and makes them look fresh. A good hint my daughter gave me was to press from the inside out. When you press from the outside in, it's hard to keep the garment still. Not so, when you put the steamer wand inside the fabric. PS: I've had no problem with getting burned. Just use common sense. Also, it heats up in just one minute. That amazed me.
This is a good steamer for the price. The only thing I don't like is sometimes spitts water and it gets the garment wet.
I was pleasantly surprised by this item. The return on investment was quite good. A bit bulky, but once you put in the water and steam, it's quite easy. Only complaint is the arm is not as long as it could be and that water from the container rests in the resevoir when removed.
I bought this product a year ago. It took some time to get used to. It works wonderful once you get the hang of it. Like the one viewer who burned her finger, you're not supposed to touch the steam directly, per instructions and common sense. The downfall with any steamer is you won't get the creases and all the wrinkles out at the bottom of the garment. Steaming is a lot faster and quicker in the morning than trying to iron. I've had this steamer for over and it just broke a few days ago. Instructions say use distilled water. I've been using facuet water. Maybe that's part of the reason why it stopped working. Going back out to buy the same or similar.
I bought this and used it maybe 5times and it quite working. It didn't steam out wrinkles like I expected either
