This is the second hair straightener that I have ever had. My hair has very stubborn waves and my first hair straightener, which was relatively cheap, didn't work very well. My hair would instantly get wavy again when it rained. This Babyliss straightener gets much hotter than my old straightener and it heats up VERY quickly. It keeps my hair straight all day, rain or shine. It even helps a little with frizz. My hair used to get stuck in and pulled by my old straightener, but it doesn't with this straightener. I haven't had any problems with it. It's a little on the expensive side, but you definitely get what you pay for. I love it!
I have a very thick asian hair and everytime I need to straighten it just to add some style, It would take me atleast 30 minutes to have the work done. But with this iron, it cut the worktime in half. It gives my hair extra shine as well. The only time I see my hair this way is when I go to salons. It heats up really fast and I don't even have to go all the way to the highest setting to have my hair done. It's well worth the price...

I am a hairstylist. I use this iron on my clients.The plates are so smooth. There is no drag at all! I get perfect results everytime. Shiny, smooth, and silky hair are very easy to achieve. (Plus the iron gets VERY hot, very quickly... so it saves time.)

I have to say that this is the best flat iron i have ever owned. I bought this about 5 years ago. Still works like a charm, i abuse the heck out this iron since my hair is very nappy and freezy .. A combination with this and TRESemme keratin infusing smoothing serum my hair is beautiful and manageable. Highly recommended. I will be buying a new one the end of this year. I will go for the ultra thin Babyliss pro flat iron. ps.. It helps alot that it doesnt tangle your hair in it or breaks it.
The results from using this flat iron is worth the price.
