I am so glad WalMart still carries this hairdryer. After 10 years, mine finally went out. It is a really good hair dryer - quick drying, multiple settings, etc. In fact, I have actually had compliments on it by others who have used it. It is very durable (it has been dropped, packed, attacked by dog, etc.) and reliable. I wholeheartedly recommend.
The best blow dryer that I have every purchased.. I have had one for 4 years now... Usually by now they burnt out because I use it every day........NOT this one.. I just purchased another just in case that day comes when it does burn out... I want to be prepared.. I have purchased other Conair dryers and they do not match up to this powerful dryer.. Its a bit heavier but you get used to it after a while... I love it...
This Conair Pro Blackbird Pistol hair dryer was the only one I could find to fit my non-melting Willie Morrow attachment. My son took my other one! Walmart website has been the only place I could locate it fast.
Love the hair dryer -- hope this one lasts as long as the one it replaced. It's difficult to find a 2000W model. Would highly recommend it.
It is strong enough to dry my hair quickly and gets hot enough to make curls hold when using a curling brush. Other hair dryers are too weak.
Sturdy, high heat dryer includes a concentrator attachment which is excellent for Dominican blowouts. For additional shine, use in conjunction with a round boar bristle brush. This is my second one in twenty years of heavy uses. You can't go wrong.

I had one of these many years ago and then switched to the yellowbird but now have gone back to the blackbird and am very pleased with the performance. Good drying power with 2000w and very comfortable to hold.
This blow dryer has lots of power. My last one lasted for years.
I've owned the Conair "Yellow Bird" hair dryers for years. They are sturdy well made dryers. When my "Yellow Bird" recently died, I went looking for another "YB" and decided to give the "Black Bird" a try since it was a higher wattage, and I have very thick hair. All in all it's still a very good hair dryer, but I feel my "YB" had a little bit more drying power than this one. You really can't go wrong with either one... haven't found another kind I like better than the Conair "Birds"!
