Work great! Only negatives to mention: 1- a few of the rollers don't slide all the way in to the heating base easily 2- the wire clips make indentions into the velvet covering on the rollers Positives: 1- I like that they are all the same size rollers, great for adding body to straight hair. 2- Heat very fast
I've been using hot rollers for over 40 years. These are exactly what I wanted. Perfect size rollers for the look I l want. Love the pins. Don't like the sets that come with the plastic clips that don't hold and stay in place.
I love these rollers!! They are big and give great body. I don't like tight little curls and these big rollers are excellent I've gotten lots of compliments. I'm so happy with them I'm going to buy another set. I put 8 on the back one on each side and one for my bangs. Just perfect!!
The rollers were exactly what I wanted The first time I plugged them in, they smoked %26 smelled funny. I was about to unplug and return them, but it stopped. When I checked it out, it must have been dust or something left over when putting it together. It never happened again.
They are fine and the price point was great. I bought two sets and used all but four rollers for my long, thick hair. One star removed because I don't like the pins they give you and I don't like that there is no storage compartment for the pins.
..... you have to plug them in and pull the plug out of the outlet; there is no longer is an on/off switch on the curlers!!!! And there is NO storage compartment for the needed pins for the curlers on the unit. Where do you put the pins???? It was quite a let down to see where they saved on these curlers! I had 3 Conair curlers before they were great. Had an on/off switch on the unit and a compartment to store the curlers. I would not buy these again. Who wants to plug it in and pull the plug out each time you use the appliance! NO, THANK YOU!
No place to store the roller pins/clips. Never sure when the rollers are hot as the light just stays on showing they are plugged in. Not my favorite but they work okay.
the flocking on these rollers is not nearly as good as my past hot rollers and the clips aren't long enough so the curlers just fall off. not happy with them at all. the size would be great, but definitely lots of room for improvement.
I don't know how these hot rollers would have performed because they were not usable. They arrived with the hot rollers box torn open and damaged as well as the plastic hard case covering the rollers completely cracked and busted. They are useless because no heat can stay in with cracks and holes throughout the cover. They're either sending out junk or handling this horribly for it to arrive that damaged. Do not buy and waste your time.
These rollers were so hot I couldn't get them out of my head fast enough. They burnt my scalp. I guess they would be good for very thick hair so the roller isn't sitting on your scalp.
