Perfect stairs to be attached to deck. Bought these previously for my Moms pool and decided to purchase for my daughters pool
Excellent quality and is easy to climb out. I'm 66 years old.
We purchased two of the stairs and we are so happy with the outcome. Its easier on everyone getting in and out of the pool.
We really like these steps. We have a Gibraltar pool so we needed a piece of decking added to the part that attaches to the pool deck because it was to high. We love them… very sturdy.
Very sturdy and love that they have shims to hold the steps together….
I've had the steps for around 10 years (I tjink it was a slightly different model but essentially the same). The steps are surprisingly sturdy, though the handles are flimsy and I had to modify. I put double layered (1" inside 1.25") pvc pipe instead, and that works much better. I found that with the handles replaced the water will go inside and weight it down so no sand etc. needed in there. One other issue is draining, since the steps have lasted through three pools and needed to be taken out - I drilled some 1/2" holes at the bottom and that works fine. Overall I'm happy with the steps, though they did need s bit of tinkering.
Beautiful steps for the price
Steps are very sturdy, and easy to assemble if you follow the instructions. We have not secured to the decking yet, but anticipate no problems. Steps are NOT open-sided to allow water and chemicals to flow through. Disappointed, because this was why I chose these steps over other models/sellers.
Not as pictured. These do not have open slats so water cannot flow through. Which results in algea growth. Misleading picture .
Truly disappointed in these stairs. For the price, I expected something of better quality. It was fairly easy to assemble. Once we added the required sand and put in the water - it still kept floating up. We had to purchase pool sand bags and fasten them to the steps to keep them from floating up. Not a great design and expect to pay additional expenses to actually make this work.
