I was skeptical at first because of some of the reviews....but I had to see for myself & I'm glad I did. It makes my bed more comfy to lay on. You sink right in! I had to let it air out for a couple of days before I put it on my bed but once I did the smell was gone. I would recommend this to any one who needs a better nights sleep.
I ordered this to put on a mattress that is about 9 years old. What a difference it makes. It feels like a new bed. I highly recommend it!
The mattress topper arrived a day early, which was wonderful, because the extra day gave me time to finish readying the room for my sister, who arrived the day the topper had been scheduled to arrive. Thank you so much for that! My sister says the bed is very comfortable and she sleeps well on it. The topper is just as described, and the price was fair. I plan to order another topper for the second guest room.
This gel mattress topper is AMAZING! We are sleeping so much better at night! It is very comfortable and really forms to your body. It's not hot like a lot of memory foam. It really is "comfort temp!" I definitely recommend this topper!
Shipped quickly and received in great shape. I was worried about the smell, but after 24 hours it went away. I love this topper. It completely transformed my bed with 5 months old extra firm mattress into a wondrous place. And it does not make you feel hot. Very comfy. I'd recommend it to everyone
this is an excellent mattress topper. my husband and i are very happy with it. word to the wise: open the topper and allow it to air out for a couple of days before putting it on the bed. would definite recommend this product!
Put this on a 12 memory foam because they recommended a topper to maintain the life of the mattress. Holy Comfort Batman this thing made such a difference in comfort. It is slightly shorter then the actual size of the mattress be aware of that but the comfort level is amazing!
I shipped this to my mom who is in her 60's, experiencing back pain and stiffness in the morning. She let this air out for several hours, put on the bed, and slept a full night and woke up pain free. Money well spent and cheaper than a new mattress. Very happy. Also, if the smell didn't bother her, you won't have an issue. She's incredibly sensitive to smells.
We are staying in a rental unit for a couple of months and the bed is so uncomfortable. I am a side sleeper and I was having hip pain after waking up from this bed. I was hesitant about buying something online because I was worried if it would have a strong chemical smell or if it would be worth the money. After reading reviews we decided to go for it, and I'm glad we did. The bed is so much more comfortable and there wasn't really any smell when we opened the package. We just opened it on the bed and let it air out and rise for 3 or 4 hours before going to bed. And my hip pain has noticeably decreased!
The mattress topper does not get hot during the night, so the gel layer works well. I still have some hip pain during the night (side sleeper), so wish I had gone with 3- or 4-inch thick instead of 2.
