I bought the bundle and just love the set up and versatility of the three separate units that all match. Super easy to put together. I did it myself. Heavy and sturdy yet can easily be moved around.
I am very pleased with this product---but I did NOT purchase it for a heavy duty bookcase! It is very good looking and well made; -- Black, Shiny and Sleek! The glass is NOT Smoked (Transparent) Black -- it is Opaque Black -- you cannot see through it. Rather than a "Bookcase" I would think a better description of this would be a 4-shelf "etagere". It would be much more appropriate for just a couple of books/bookends or pictures and decor. You could lay a few books flat on each shelf, but it could not hold a bunch of books like library shelves! It is sturdy, but not THAT heavy duty!
This bookshelf is acting as an over-sized night stand. It is my computer center, holding my laptop, printer, and supplies. It is very solid, yet the design is open on all sides, making it convenient to use with oversized pieces which may overhang a little. The only problem was that it was not available in the store, which would have saved approx. $16.00. However, site to store worked just fine, and was ready a week early. Assembly took less than five minutes.
This really ties up the Entertainment Center into a nice packaged look. They even send you a tieback kind of thing with a hook screw so you can make sure they (each Piece) is anchored to the wall.
Needed some shelving to fill out some corners in my apartment. Saw these on the Walmart site, and they are perfect. I ordered four of these. Very attractive, made of tempered glass, very easy to put together. Useful for knick knacks, books, games, records, whatever you might want to showcase on them. These shelves put the right finishing touch on the look that I wanted for my living and dining rooms. Yes, I would recommend purchasing these attractive and useful shelves.
we purchased a carson tv stand for up to a 50" tv that coordinated very nicely with these shelves. total price with all three peices were a great value!!
It will serve purpose needed for. This is not made of heavy materials so you have to be aware of what you will be using it for. Don't put extreme weight on it and you will be fine. Looks pretty and size is nice.
Bought two for either side of matching TV stand for 42" max. They match great, shelves are a little unstable on carpet however, comes with long zip ties and eyelet screws to secure to wall. I just put speakers on bottom since they are heavier, no fear of tipping over.
Just what I was looking for. Economical and very good looking. Only tiny problem I had was - I did not realize from the picture that the legs were inset from the corners making the shelf a little narrower, so an item I was going to put on a shelf had to sit on top.
I would have liked less of the metal to be the focal point. Also, it would have been nice to to be able to add another platform to make additional shelves or make a smaller shelves, as I have several shelves with extra height space. Sturdy. Goes well with the TV stand. Does not take up much space, which is great.
