Works beautifully, exactly as advertised. Cuts heat considerably. Have it professionally installed and be sure to install the tie-down's. I like it so much that I bought one for another window and as well, I found a shade sail in the same color. These look great.
Easy to install and the quality is what we expected. The material was of decent quality, and the construction was good. It comes with handy elastic holders at the bottom to help keep the blinds fixed so they don't blow in the wind. They provide a semi opaque effect when looking through from the inside but from the outside its near impossible to see through. Overall we were very pleased with these.
Installation was straight forward, took about a half of an hour. Mechanism is heavy duty, manual crank works well, and I am pleased at how easy the crank attaches/detaches from the shade.
Shipped quickly. I got it a week before I was supposed to get it! I love the color, it is well made. Very nice blind. I am using it on the deck. I can still see through it, but it blocks that afternoon sun!
Love It! Blocks the sun, now I can sit on my porch and read without the sun beaming down on me. It, also gives me privacy were I can see out but you can't see me unless you come really close up on my porch. It blocks the sun not the breeze. Love It!
Excellent shade. The only negative is the handle that you use to twist to lower and raise the shade. It takes a little getting used to the technique. We have received lots of compliments on it.
Needed a custom size for one to complete project, but evidently this option is not available. Otherwise have been a lifesaver for relief from east sun. Makes temperature 10 degrees cooler in den.
Like the product but would liked more size options
I had recently purchased an 8X8 Coolaroo Sun Shade at a Sam's Club. We really loved it, easy to install, looks nice. Just what we were looking for. We then decided we needed another 4ft. section covered. Ordered this one thru WalMart. I am disappointed as it does not seem to be the same quality as the first one we bought. There is no valance to cover the workings at the top (unlike the other)..so it really looks bad next to the bigger one! We will keep it, it appears to be giving us the shade we need on our porch, but am disappointed that it isn't as nice as the first one I bought.
The first one fell during installation and broke. The second one, the tensioner unwound while pulling it out of the box because there was no red brake. I could not find instructions on how to rewind it. There support hours are not used friendly M-F 8-5 eastern time. Now that I have it working, I will have to figure out a way to keep it from blowing into the sitting area.
