This cover is thick and you don't have to worry about holes developing. You can tell it was put together very well. Definitely recommend for all gardeners to have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Coolaroo - Garden Cover is made very well, it is quite durable. I can imagine many garden uses for it. The green color blends in well to our yard. Right now, my husband is using it to protect my delicate plants from our horrible Southern California sun. He has made a cover for my old greenhouse frame. He also made another cover to fit an old patio umbrella frame, to shade some plants in the corner of the yard. We are considering ordering more and running it along the wrought iron fence behind our house to protect the plants on the back patio from being burnt by the morning sun.

The Garden Cover is up to 30% UV block so it's perfect for that location. It'd ideal for Hydroponic Gardening, vining fruits and vegetable. Hit help shield from the sun, wind, hail and pets. This shade cleans easily with a garden hose and is mold and mildew resistant. It is not made from fabric.

I wanted some shade so I can put my houseplants outside this summer and not worry about them burning when the sun hits that area in the afternoon. It gives just enough shade so they don't burn. I do wish it was a bit heavier, but so far it's holding up. I like the fact that it doesn't fray, a real plus. I plan on using this to temporarily shade my tomato transplants from direct sun until they get over the tender transplant shade.

They provide some shade an UV protection your plants might need when it gets to be 100 degrees and no rain in sight. I could have used the shade to be 9 or 10 ft wide, so I could have it span the full width of my beds but the 15 ft length is just right. I guess this might work better for plants that are nestled against a fence or a wall.
