Light formula. Gentle on skin
I have tried many sunscreens for kids and found this one to be the best so far. I apply sunscreen to my toddler everyday and when he comes home from daycare, he is not sunburned at all. I also use it daily under my makeup because it is not greasy. I recently decided to try the Coppertone kids 70+ SPF since its summer in Arizona and the last two days my toddler came home sunburned. My husband used this as well and burned the same. We will be buying and using more of the Coppertone Kids Pure & Simple 50 spf product.
Make sure you re apply every 2-3 hours my daughter never had a sunburn
It's zinc oxide base, which is preferred as an effective sunblock. It goes on mostly sheer, and does not have a white chalky feel.
I bought this Coppertone because the sun blisters my skin. The zinc really helps keep the sun from doing any damage. Adult and child Coppertone both have the exact same ingredients. The kids is a better buy than adult. I highly recommend this.
I decided to purchase this sunscreen for my kids because they take swimming lessons and since we live in texas they really need a sunscreen. I really like this brand of sunscreen and in fact its the only one i use but with this specific product i noticed that the sunscreen turns white and it makes my kids skin look white and ash and also it doesn't go on very easy, i will definitely be trying another kind of sunscreen for them because i wasn't really convinced with this one.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are in Mexico right now and all 3 kids of mine are burnt afternusing fills cans a day on each of them. We spray it on continuously and wait 30 minutes before going in the water and they are still burnt to a crisp. Horrible product
My eyes started watering as soon as I applied the product, and a few minutes later I got an itchy sensation all over my face so I decided to wash it off with regular water. That did not help, so I had to wash my face with a cleanser to get it all off. Would not recommended!!!
Product burns my eyes and caused itch on my face. I had to wash it off with water.
