We use this on both of our kids and often ourselves when we forget other sunscreen. It smells good, is easy to apply, doesn't irritate skin, and we haven't had a sunburn yet even when playing in water.
You don't even have to use this on a baby since it's odor free. For some reason this was on sale and I use this instead of adult sunblock and it works the same if not better.
I have never been the type to EVER wear sunscreen until now... I will be 30 this year and want to keep my face protected to minimize the appearance of wrinkles. I have been purchasing Coppertone sunscreen like crazy, I am obsessed! I apply it almost everyday on myself as well as my daughter. We BOTH are tan & she is mixed. I LOVE THIS STUFF !!!
Please do not keep changing the formula. I used this on my babies who are now 33 and 36! It used to smell wonderful and last on the skin. Over the years it's changed. I use it on myself and noticed it keeps changing.! Same with the original Coppertone! Please leave it alone.
Hi! I loved this product, but recently it says "New and improved formula" and the bottle is yellow. What happened to the previous one that was all pink? I tried this one but it made my face very white, while the other one did not make me white at all. Is this product coming back?
Rubs in pretty well, not greasy
Water babies has been a staple in my sensitive skin sun protection arsenal for years. The new formula is extremely greasy feeling and rubbed off easily near my bathing suit straps. It stayed waterproof and kept me from getting burned just like it always has in the places it wasn't rubbed away, but the slippery greasy feeling means I'll be looking for an alternative for the rest of the summer. Very disappointed as this has always been a reliable product before.
The new formula dries out our skin. After three days of use at the beach my wife, two kids, and I had such dry faces that it hurt. The old formula never did that to us, even after a full week at the beach. We stopped use of the new formula Water Babies and all of us felt much better. Sorry, but the old formula was better.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product broke my 18mth grandbaby out horribly. My daughter ended up throwing the bottle away and it's not cheap stuff! Switched to another and had no problems. Just may want to try a small area before putting it all over so it doesnt make for a miserable day.
We spent a few days at the beach this week. I put this on both of my children and myself. Being mindful that it was mid day we reapplied several times. We all ended up with sunburn. Meanwhile my aunt was using a CVS brand spf 30 on her grandson and he was perfectly fine not even pink. Definitely not worth the money. I will not purchase again.
