I was able to assemble this piece on my own in 2.5 hours 8 weeks after having my baby via a section. The only complaint would be that the handles are not actually metal handles, they are wood dowels painted silver.
I searched a for many different TV stand designs and ends with this one. It is as wide as we like, have useful drawers and has a good look. It arrived in time, inside a very heavy box, assembled in about 3hrs, maybe longer than most of others but I read all the instructions and took out all the parts before I started assembly. The quality is not as good as the look, material is cheap, MDD boards, plastic handles; and lot of damages were found at the corners. Drawers are not firmly,looks quite weak. Overall I like this tv stand, but the quality can be better given the price it is over 300
This stand is just right for an 80" TV but if you get it with out all the parts or parts that are messed up expect to wait to finish building it if you don't want to take it back to Walmart. Corliving will make you wait two to three weeks to get the parts, thats to long.
For starters this is a beautiful tv stand, deep, rich color and once built it seems to be quite strong and sturdy, its getting to that point that may be frustrating, fir me it was. There is absolutely no written instructions, only very vague pictures. Please, please, please pay extreme close attention to the orientation of the pieces, look at all holes, notches etc. before beginning assembly on the piece. While the instructions reference letter pieces, mine had absolutely zero letters on them, leaving me to basically guess if i was using the right piece or not. Second, please ensure that this stand is deep enough for your tv legs, i did not, and my tv legs are too wide front to back. I decided to keep the stand and modified my tv legs to fit, i really like this stand and decided it was worth the effort.
This is a sturdy, good looking stand but the front top corner was damaged. I usually return damaged items but this stand is too heavy and we had already put it together when we noticed it. I put together the drawers and doors while my husband worked on the frame, then we both put the bottom, top and back on together. It took us a bit over 2 hours to assemble. I used a wood repair marker to color the corner so it's not as noticable. Since the packaging was intact, we're unsure if the damage happened before or after it was packaged, therefore, we can't recommend it for that reason.
This item looks okay in pictures, but the handles are plastic. When I screwed them on, the screws broke in half, with half inside the handle . I am not that string and these screws should not snap in half while screwing them in by hand. A piece also broke during shipping and I am still waiting for the piece to arrive.
Good quality piece. However, poor assemble directions. I'm an engineer and it took me about 4 hours to understand the drawings and assemble.
One piece of the tv stand arrived damaged. Took almost 5 hours to put together because of the poorly written directions. I know espresso is suppose to be dark brown, but this color is 1 shade from black. Way to dark. Color way darker than the picture.
The color is not as shown in description, the material is very cheap. If you were to buy it dont make the mistake I made of purchasing it. The materical is very week and fhe packaging is was not neat at all. The screws were not even in the packages and were just like all around in the box. I bought this because the images were good and the description was good but after reciving it. Its trash, everything is a lie that they tell you and the color is black not even espresso.
