My teenager grandson loves them
Good sound. Comfortable ear pads. Have not tried the microphone yet, but I like that it can be removed. Doubt that I will use it much.
very good headphones
Great product for the price only complaint is if you have the volume to loud you echo in a party
I'd been meaning to get a new headset for a long time and my brother recommended this one to me, as it's the same one he uses. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 just because my computer doesn't automatically recognize it and switch over to the headset as the default for sound when I plug it in, I have to go in and do it myself manually through the control panel every time. I'm not sure if that's just my computer or the headset to be honest, so if you're reading this, bear that in mind. Other than that they're great, way more comfortable than my old pair and they cover my entire ear and don't press my glasses to my head. Noise-cancelling, too, as far as I can tell, so overall they work really well. I mostly use them for gaming, but you can unplug the mic and use it for music, too. Definitely glad I finally upgraded to a newer pair.
Like i said in the title, similar to dt990s but worse. More uncomfortable leatherette, heavier, cheaper build quality, and worse audio quality. Better than all of the competition at this price point, but that's just not saying much. Only if you're struggling really or want a budget option.
The build quality, durability, and sound quality are great, and looked like a complete steal at the time (I bought it on sale for 49.99), and for the most part they were. They sounded great, earcups are nice and soft, but sort of clamp a little too much, and the weight really gets to the top of your head. The mic, is removable, bendy, and comes with a wind screen, which is nice, but does not sound too great, if you can even be heard. The mic is very quiet, and very little can be done to deal with it. Raising the input volume in windows barely does enough, raising input volume as well in the platform you are using these on barely does anything either, and finally the proprietary software that you need to use the surround sound functionality, has no microphone settings to speak of. The software (iCUE) is great for equalizer settings/profiles and lighting sync with peripherals and components, but has absolutely 0 settings for the microphone, in fact it isn't listed at all. If you weren't going to use the included mic and just get the headset for the audio only, I still wouldn't recommend it. Its nice and really good quality, but you can get better or similar quality for the same or even less price in that case. Other brands that have better proprietary softwares such as Logitech and Razer also have similarly priced headsets that can offer more for the same price.
overall im happy with them, just think the volume dial lacks range.
I was satisfied with the fit-very comfortable. I WAS satisfied with the function; However after using the headphones 4 or 5 times the microphone failed. The speakers continued working, but for my job, the microphone is necessary.
Big and heavy. Had the headset on for 15 minutes trying to get a sound through my phone, which it did not work, and had a headache after wearing. RETURNED
