I needed new thermal paste and I saw Corsair-XTM50 High Performance Thermal Paste Kit-Gray on the Walmart website and it had nice colors on the syringe and it didn't take any time to apply it and I put the heat sink back on it's hinges and tightened down the phillips head bolts and turned on my DELL XPS-420 and it worked like always. I bought my DELL in October 2008 and it still works like a champ. I guess every 13 years it is time to clean the heat sink and the fans and eveything else to keep it from overheating. I didn't realize how much dust and lint and cat hair the fans can pull into the heat sink copper cooling fins. There was a sheet; a curtain of brown dust on the heat sink and so I cleaned the whole computer and reseated the RAM sticks or cards or modules. Give it a name and stick with it dam it. So with 8 gigabytes of RAM and Windows 10 21H1 my computer works very well after all these years and the Corsair Thermal Paste was so easy to apply and it is doing it's job keeping the heat pulled off the CPU. How is that for the King of Thermal Pastes?
