Works great, Regulates temperature well. I 've used this for several months and am very pleased with it. I use it at least weekly. I like everything about it - it's sturdy enough to handle a large pot of spaghetti sauce or large skillet. It is not lightweight yet not so heavy that it's a problem to move when I need to move it. It does seem to take a little longer to bring my water to boiling - when steaming veggies - But that is fine with me - since if something other than water is set on highest setting, (which I rarely do) that's part of its great temperature regulation that I appreciate. I hardly ever use both sides simultaneously, but I like having the 2 different size cook-plates. (I bought a different kind, and brand, before buying this one. Not good temp control at all. Would stay on med heat far too long just getting hotter and hotter before regulating itself to lower temp.)

Like everything about this idiom, dislike nothing, this product is stylish and preforms very well, I use it to cook full meals at my mini home
I live in a senior living facility. My apt has a kitchenette but no stove. This hot plate is perfect size and I can put it away after use . I can make stew, sauce, spaghetti it will do the job
The burners heat up quickly and I was able to boil water with a lid on a large pot within 15 minutes of turning it on.
I love this hot plate! 2 of my stovetop burners have been giving me issues so i decided to buy this hot plate and I'm happy I did! I've been using it for all my cooking needs so far and I'm extremely satisfied.
one burner heats desent and the other one dosent at all takes almost a hour to boil water i would nit recomended
I purchased the Costway 1800W Double Hot Plate to use because my stove in my apartment is not working. So far, my assessment of it is that the burners take a while to get hot, and once they're hot they're constantly going out, which causes food to take a longer than usual time to cook. This hot plate is okay if you only need something to use temporary. It's okay for preparing small meals and boiling water, but I wouldn't depend upon it for larger multi meals.
costway makes great products. I tried to get this to work for me but I didn't like there was no like showing the burner was still hot. Also too long to boil water.
I never even opened this box because it was dropped into my yard (I have a gate) and I wasn't willing to use someone that was clearly depressed from the top of my fence. It shows in it's originally box so I really didn't think it would handle the fall so I just returned it to Walmart who gave me a refund without any hassle.
