I have used this pencil for years but am having trouble finding just the pencil and the shade I use! I love it because it goes on easily but isn't too soft. I use the teal liner and haven't been able to find it for some time. I am almost out!!! Help!!
I wouldn't use this as an eye liner because it doesn't work as one. It makes a great brow liner. If you have dark/black eyebrows and need to fill them in for a fuller look, then this is what you need. Other brands only offer black, gray or dark brown and the color never blends well with darker eyebrows. The black is too dark. This sable color looks more natural and I will never buy another. For the price, you can't go wrong.

It has taken me years to perfect my brow and the tools & colors I use. I have gone from $24 pencils at to member priced $3.69 pencils at Sally's. #927 in Taupe is the truest taupe colored pencil I have ever had! It's perfect for my skin color, I am a light-skinned African American women, and my hair color which is a dark brown to black. It's not harsh or overbearing against my skin & hair, it goes on naturally, and they last me pretty long for only $.99! I usually buy them from Kmart in bulk, meaning I get 6-7 pencils as they're stocked lol. My brows are serious business to me and I will ALWAYS use this pencil. Please, NYC DON'T EVER DISCONTINUE #927 in Taupe! :)
I have been buying this at a drugstore chain for several years. This is the most amazing pencil for both brows and eyeliner. It is soft enough to use on lids and brows with a softly defined line.The charcoal color is perfect, but it is becoming more difficult to find, as some of the stores have either discontinued or just carry black and brown. I am sad about this!
Love it... Doesn't smudge
I usually use a black eye liner but this dark brown works and looks great on my eye!! It is easy to put on and glides very smoothly! I am so glad I got to try this out first as a complimentary for testing purposes! When I run out, I'll be buying more! I really love it
Good for using with dark colors to lighten look,and good for light colors to make look appear more darker.Good,just don't sharpen until you really need to.
I bought it for its cheapness, and I regret the one dollar I paid for it. It crumbled in my eye and had no pigmentation whatsoever, even when I used a lighter! Don't waste your money!
I put the liner on my eyes and it melts off and smudges in 1 hour. Not good. It crumbles a lot while sharpening too.
