A great top coat that truly gives a mega shine! It's perfect for a finishing shine or to touch up your manicure throughout the days/week. It does dry fast, but not as fast as OPI fast dry, Out The Door, or Seche Vite. So, don't plan on polishing and being smear-free right away. I like the shiny finish this top coat gives nails, but it isn't as glass-like as the OPI or Seche Vite. But, because it isn't as thin of a coat, it seems to last a bit longer with great chip-resistance. For me, this is a great clear, top coat. But, since it's not an ideal super fast dry coat, I use this instead as a refresher top coat to keep my polish shiny in the day(s) after first being done. This is the ONLY top coat I use! I do alot of nail art and this product went beyond my expectations! I recommend this product to people who always comment on my nails.Just wish I could get it in a larger bottle! Thank you!
I love Sally Hansen products and I have tried several bases and topcoats, but this Mega Shine is hands down the BEST topcoat I have found to date! I won't use another topcoat when I do my nails. They're super shiny and it even smooths out tiny defects like uneven polish or bubbles.
This product is wonderful. I have been using it for years and it provides shine and protection. I recommend it to everyone. Now my daughter recommends it to all her friends. I do my nails on Sunday nights and then re-apply Mega Shine once or twice during the week. My manicure looks great all week. I get lots of compliments (most people think I have gels). Best top coat ever! Highly recommend this product!
I have been using Sally Hansen products pretty much all my life as my grandmother was a cosmetologist who was obsessive about her nails, and she swore by SH. I discovered this top coat through the "Chrome Polish" era in high school (any plans to bring those back, SH? I loved them!) and have been using it every since. Seriously, this is the best top coat in history. It makes the worst polish look good and it makes my polish last forever. It is the only top coat I use.
I used to be obsessed with this top coat. I probably went through two or three bottles. It was my go to, to seal my nail wraps. It also made them shiny. I've started using other topcoats that are more glossier. I would probably still use this one, if it wasn't so hard to find!
I read both good and bad reviews on this product, and was a little nervous about the price, but it was just what I was looking for! I really wanted a very high shine and to dry hard fast. Within about 15 minutes of putting it on, my nails were completely dried hard, and two days later I still have wet shine that looks fantastic! I read that this topcoat can blur nail art, so I put a thin layer of a cheap regular topcoat on my accent nails before adding Mega Shine, and they look perfect-glass shine with no smudging of my design. I have a little chipping, but that's the only thing that would take this topcoat from good to excellent. This topcoat is worth it.
I was excited to use this because of the promise of a lasting manicure, it however did not last overnight. I used as directed and was disapointed to see that it had begun to peel up. The shine is nice but the overall quality is not what I expected from a Sally Hansen product.
Love the shine, hate the glitter. The silver finish comes off the bottle and ends up on the brush. I have brushed it into my manicure several times! Very frustrating! This is a relatively new bottle!
