I was surprised by how much I liked the shade Dolce Latte; it's a cool-toned, metallic pink and wears beautifully! The lipstick has a smooth texture, great pigmentation, no overall scent and standard packaging. I got this lipstick on discount too, so overall great value IMO.
I like this lipstick alot. The first time I used it, I didn't know that it would turn to a pretty light blue-based frosted pink after a few minutes. I thought it was too silvery, but it's actually not. Also, it doesn't stain my lips a dark pink after it wears off, but instead leaves a light pink stain which is way more flattering on me. I purchased some backups since anything I like seems to get discontinued.
The Cover Girl 410 Ravishing Rose has been my go-to color for years now. I could only find it at Walmart online but not in stores. I fear CG may discontinue this shade in the near future since 410 is not a possible selection on the display in store. The lipstick itself is creamy, moisturizing, glides on easily, and gives a soft color no matter the season.
So, I bought this lipstick at Walmart in the Halloween section. My husband literally made fun of me for it, but I don't even care. This is the best lipstick I have ever use in stick form. I'm not exaggerating it barely moves, goes on like velvet, and it's not streaky or un even. Not to mention it's cheaper than the elf lipstick I bought, and way better quality. I'm going to buy other shades.
I've had this lipstick for a while as you can probably tell in the photos, I have the color succulent cherry and it has a nice pigment on your lips. I use this lipstick everyday as part of my lip combo and I love it so much! The texture of it is soft and it feels very hydrating.
Went on nicely and lasted a while, I don't typically wear makeup so for me to enjoy this must mean it's pretty good. The product didn't feel sticky or chalky, it felt nice and light and I really enjoyed the orangy red color. Got lots of complements. Could smell a little better though. Hence the four stars.
It's ok. The pigmentation isn't as red as I thought it would be once I put it on my skin. The texture is smooth. It's like a creamy velvety type of lipstick I was looking for more of a matte but this one is more creamy and a velvet finish. There is like a really light vanilla scent to it. You can't really smell it unless you really put it to your nose but it's really faint. The packaging is pretty simple and it just had a simple piece of tape ceiling. The cap on the cap is a pull off. Snap back on the price I paid eight dollars for this lipstick. It wasn't what I was really looking for and I am a big fan of red lipstick. I usually look for bright, red lipsticks, deep red lipsticks, more of a darker cherry color, or a really red red color. This one's sort of a pinkish tint with the red in way once I put it on my skin but if you like more of a creamy or velvety finish to a lipstick, this would be a good lipstick for you, but it wasn't what I was looking for. It also smudges pretty easily, and the red stain will last around your lips if it gets outside of your lips, so be careful. It isn't that bad. it's a pretty shade it just isn't for me.
I have bought #365 Enchantress (not blush) for many years and always got compliments from friends. Now apparently Covergirl doesn't offer it anymore and now sell as the same number but the color is absolutely not the same. It is called Enchantress Blush and I do not like it. I have looked at multiple different brands with no luck finding any color the same as the plain old "Enchantress" I used to buy from Covergirl. I wish products didn't have to change! If anyone knows where I can still get the plain "Enchantress" please share, it would greatly be appreciated. I only gave two stars because if the replacement color otherwise this product is great.
I like the color and would have been happy, but the lipstick came with a broken seal and it had been opened and smashed in the tube.
Not at alllllll the same as the color on the website here or the color on the bottom of the tube. So bummed! Was excited for a bright pink shade and got a very 90s icy pink shimmer. Yuck!
