This syndicated western takes place in the 1880s, and stars two fine actors, Russell Hayden who plays Pat Gallagher and Jackie Coogan who plays Stoney Crockett. Russell Hayden is a veteran of many 1950s television shows including Judge Roy Bean. Jackie Coogan was a child actor in the early silent films of the 20s and known for his portrayal of Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer in the movies. Working as government agents, Pat and Stoney travel from town to town, righting injustices and conquering the antagonist. Although it lasted only one season, "Cowboy G-Men" explored a new area of the television western genre. Rather than the more traditional stories of individual lawmen fighting crime, Cowboy G-Men introduces the federal government into the old west. Presented In Black & White.
