Cra-Z-art softee dough cooking fun set is alot of fun! It comes with an oven that has different food molds on it to make your softee dough creations! It is not edible. My girls love playing with this set and love making all kinds of softee dough foods for their barbies to eat. I definitely recommend this product for your next purchase!
My kids were really excited to play with this kit. It is comparable to the other brand of the same type of products. The kit comes with a lot of different accessories and the kids had a lot of fun making all of the different options. I would recommend to family and friends!
My 4 year old is a fanatic for modeling clay and dough. She loves making her own creations for hours. This particular set was such a big hit with her! It comes with an adorable little oven that she can bake her goodies in. The molds include tons of items like pizza hot dogs and pretzels. The assembly took 30 seconds and we were baking up a storm. The dough was very soft and easy to use. I highly recommend this set to anyone with a child who loves to pretend cook and bake.
I want To start out by saying that this does not make nearly as big of a mess as I thought it would. I have two sons who are three and five and they love being in the kitchen and helping me cook or pretending to cook. This is the best toy for them because they are able to be creative, and do some thing they really enjoy without making a huge mess. It keeps them busy and I'm really glad that I picked this out.
So my niece likes to cook and absolutely loves play dough so this gives her a chance to put her wrist to work in a safe environment without harming herself nor obtaining any hazardous materials.
My granddaughter loves pretend cooking. I enjoyed playing with it too lol.
This is a nice activity set for kids, I like the good quality of the dough, it has enough elasticity that allows to make shapes easily and it has a sweet smell. The accessories are cute too, but I think they are too small for a 3 years old kid, my son is almost 5 and the first thing I did was to put them away, I fear he still could put it into his mouth, so I only left him playing with the stove.
This comes with 3 playdough/ soft dough containers. They are a good Size. Two of the containers have a mixed color and the third is solid White. I wish the overall overseer and accessories where larger. I feel Like my daughter is going to loose some of these pieces quickly. My 3 Year old loves playing with this toy and making food.
The tools in this kit are unique and a lot of fun because I haven't seen anything similar on the market in play-doh brand or any others. Cra-Z-art playdoh is often one or the other when it comes to consistent texture it is either super crummy or it's fairly wet and smears instead of staying together in this case the item was actually dry and crumbly so it made it hard to actually make anything that the picture showed on box. I do love the creative aspects to this kit as well as many of Cra-Z-arts craft kits they are often one of a kind and really fun but the playdoh is just never soft or moveable enough to actually create the tiny bits of details the molds require. I rated this only three stars because of the consistency of the playdoh. It was impossible to mold the eggs to even create the item and it all was crumbly and with a better material of dough I think you could really have some incredible pieces.
The idea behind this is great however the parts/utensils intended to promote creative play are too small for a children under 5. The packaging recommends 3+. The play dough has a very attractive scent that would make a child want to taste it despite the carton warning that the dough should not be eaten. If being used under supervision of an adult then yes but otherwise older children may utilize this although the parts would be too small for older children.
