I have a 3 year old who loves to paint but she cannot seem to understand the whole only on the paper thing. So when she wants to paint, which is always, I have to sit down and watch her closely. I saw this advertised on TV and bought it. It is awsome! She can paint while I do other things around the house and I don't have to watch her constantly. It really will not show on anything other than the paper and the refills are very reasonable priced. This is a great product for a small child who is still learning what to and not to paint. It would not be very good for an older child because the brush has a very wide stroke and you cannot do very many details with it.
This was one of the best presents my daughter (5yrs) recieved for Christmas. We opened and tried it Christmas morning and she played with it almost all day. She thought it was "amazing" how the tip of the brush lit up with the colors and then, even though the paint was colorless, they "magically" appeared on the paper! It was mess free (okay there was clear paint on her hands and clothes, but come on, it's CLEAR!), easy to use, and I love the way it shuts itself off after a few minutes to save battery life! Definately worth it. The smile on her face while she plays with this is priceless!!
This was bought as Xmas present and I was told child enjoyed it really well
I love this product I bought it for my 4 year old. It's great! The paint is a little slow to dry, and the light does not stay lit, but other than that it wonderful! As far as the clean up, all you need to do is rinse off the tip with water to keep it from getting hard. Now the only problem I have is replacement paper, it is very hard to find in a small town.
My one yr old and three year old LOVE to paint with these paints! It does take a LONG time to dry and I am having a hard time finding replacement paints. I would recommend it though! Keeps my kids entertained for a while!
I bought this product not expecting it to be what it was. The paints are pasty, which creates a HUGE mess. It's not made for little people I'd recommend it for children 8 +....Not impressed at all...might as well buy her regular paint..
I got this for my daughter for Christmas, she had no problem using it. She loved the fact that the brush lit up when you hovered it over the different colors. The only thing is once the paint dries, it is really stiff and tends to crack and flake off the paper, so saving art projects can be tricky. Other than that, it's a great crayola product!
This thing was a total waste of money. The paint barely turns color & there is only so much of it to last. And it sticks like glue so now half the pages are stuck together. If I wouldn't have put the box in the fire on christmas I would have soooo took it back.
First it took me forever to find this product available anywhere. I finally received it for my daughter's Christmas gift and it didn't even work. The light would come on and off and didn't show the correct color. Then the paint is so thick and sticky it stains clothes, and anything else it comes in contact. My sister-in-law purchased this same thing for my nephew and her white kitchen table now has big yellow stains that are not coming out. Do not buy this for your child, it's horrible.
Very disappointed. "Santa" brought this for my 4 year old son and we were very excited to sit down and paint together but within 2 minutes we both realized what a piece of junk this product is. Brush does not light up as I expected and it takes several seconds for the color to appear on the paper and it is very streaky and impossible to actually draw something. Should have just gotten markers & paper. Don't waste your time or money on this product!
