When I first got the K Trans-X Automatic Transmission Slip-stop and Leak Fix I was very doubtful. Things I have used in the past did not work. After following directions I took my car for a 20 min. test spin. At first I did not see any difference. After about 20/30 minutes of driving I noticed that at the stop light the car transitioned smoothly. when I parked the car I let it run a little while longer to see if anything would drip or run from underneath. To my surprise I saw nothing and No fumes . So far I give it 10 stars. I took it to be checked and the attendant looked it over and gave my car a clean bill of health.
My trans was slipping at a stoplight. I have used this product several times with great results. This fluid stopped the drip of the transmission, Ii am very happy
I decided to try this Trans-X Automatic Transmission Slip-Stop & Leak Fix in my older car, since it's begun making a few different noises in its old age. Shortly after adding this treatment to my engine, I let it sit for an hour or so, and then decided to take the old gal for a ride. I immediately noticed that the vibration level in my car - which had begun to get increasingly greater over time - seemed hardly noticeable. A few more miles down the road, to my amazement, I experienced a noticeable reduction in noise. By the time I made it back home, my older car had begun to operate much the way it did years ago, with a smoother, quieter ride overall. I was pleasantly surprised! I'm very happy with this Trans-X engine treatment, and plan to use it regularly now in all of our vehicles.
First off I will state that I did receive this as Part of the spark program! 2nd this is my honest review! At first I was a bit iffy to “test” this on my 05 BMW X3. Only bc we had already tried a different type last yr{2019}, that worked but didn't last long at all! I believe it was maybe for 1 month if even that! So I was worried about trying another! But we followed the directions & initially I must admit after driving for 5 mins I was ready to go home bc nothing was different! Obviously this has been frustrating so I just needed it to work ASAP haha! But heading home it was around the 15-17 min mark.... we stopped to grab a drink. I turned off my car, went inside & when I went to pull off there was definitely something different! So much that I just looked at my husband to see if he noticed bc he's not in my car as much As I am! && His truck is rough so either way he says my car is smooth driving! But I promise, it had grown not to be!! But he actually noticed & wanted to drive to feel it better!! & I could even tell the difference from sitting in the passenger side as well! & rather quickly! Driving it away and hitting stop sign after stop sign It continued to go smoothly even more as we drove!!! I went around a few blocks extra to make sure I wasn't going crazy!! Lol. I've waited to do this review for almost 3 weeks to give my honest opinion on how this Product worked in MY car! Still to this day I have huge hope & confidence bc my car is normal again and has no leaks! As of right now I do give this product 5 star!! Remember— Don't give up too soon! Drive it for at least 20 mins, I'd say, just to give it that time it needs to do its thang ;) you may be surprised/excited on the outcome as much as I was!!
This worked quickly to address the gasket leak. It was great to find a quick remedy that can effectively repair leaks in automatic transmissions, hydraulic systems and even power steering without spending a fortune at a mechanic shop. My vehicle has been operating problem-free since I used it this past week. I will definitely be keeping this on hand in my tool kit.
I got this TRANSX fluid to put in the T5 5 Speed of my 1984 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 because it was weeping fluid from the counter shaft bearing which is a common issue. After emptying all of the old fluid out and replacing the speedometer gear seals which also were leaking I refilled the transmission with Dextron III, per the service manual, and added the full bottle of TRANSX fluid. The fluid leak at the counter shaft bearing has completely stopped as well as the leaks from the speedometer gear housing. The transmission, while 5 speed, shifts smoother than ever and has a better feeling going into each gear. Before putting this in, I would have issues on occasion with the transmission not wanting to allow the shifter into reverse without first moving up slightly in first gear. This has not been an issue since using the TRANSX fluid! I am very thankful and happy for this product. Only time will tell but I believe this one little bottle may have just saved me a $1,500 replacement transmission. For the cost, I would suggest anyone try this product first. It is guaranteed double your money back if it doesn't work… so really what do you have to lose except if it works, a costly repair bill! 110% would recommend this product to anyone!
When I received K&W-X Automatic Transmission Slip-Stop & Leak I quickly used in my vehicle I really wasn't expecting much from it to be honest. After a day I didn't see a change in my vehicle so I wasn't to happy but after the fourth day I noticed the leak stop and my car was running a lot better. I recommend because it really works.
I got this item off of spark review and came it.. I used it on my Chevy equinox and so far it's running fine working smoothly and great. I just used it so I haven't seen much different whether I will see anything or not. But I like it so far.
This transmission fluid seemed to help with delayed drive engagement. My car was sluggish, as it now has high miles. Take off's are easier and don't seem as delayed once I added this fluid to my car. It really seemed to “clean out” my transmission system and boost performance.
This review is for the K&W Trans-X Automatic Transmission Stop Leak & Tune Up, 15 Fl Oz. I wasn't really having any serious issues with my transmission in my 2003 Camry. Once in a great while, when the engine was cold, the transmission seemed to slip. So, I decided to try this product. It states it is for use in power steering and transmission fluids and will stop leaks and slips restoring smooth shifting, conditions seals and cleans gum and varnish working with all types of automatic transmission fluid. It is supposed to repair leaks in automatic transmissions, power steering and hydraulic systems and prevent leaks caused by aged seals and gaskets. It touts powerful cleaning agents that remove sludge, gums, and varnish to prevent premature failure and extend transmission life. The website states you need to use it at the time the transmission fluid is change but the bottle does not state this. The bottle states to add one bottle to transmission or two 15 0z bottles if 10 qt capacity or more transmission. Then drive and maintain proper fluid levels. So, I used it as directed and I feel the problem has gotten worse. Now instead of my transmission slipping once in a while when cold, it seems to be slipping more often. I spoke with my mechanic and he said hopefully a transmission fluid change will get rid of it and my transmission will go back to performing how it was before I used this product. It may work for some but it did not work for me and I think it made the problem worse. I would strongly suggest you talk with your mechanic before using this product.
