it's so pretty! don't be put off by yellow water and red lava. I was, but took a chance and I'm glad I did. it is beautiful, the yellow is barely noticeable when it's on. I want another, but they don't have it in stock right now. I've been buying lava lamps for the birthdays etc I have coming up (home bored you know lol) and I have to say I recommend walmart for your lava lamp needs. lava lamps can be ruined if they are shaken or badly handled especially when hot or warm. the liquid gets cloudy like skim milk and it is almost impossible to fix. that can also happen if stored in a warm/hot area. I also ordered one from amazon and ebay. those 2 were horribly cloudy and I had to return them (which is a PIA). I have gotten about 5 from walmart.com, they came in the mail. not one single one was cloudy, every single one was clear and great. I am SO impressed with walmart, they and/or their suppliers must take very good care about where they store and how they handle the lamps. even the delivery people were unable to ruin them LOL. I probably won't order any in the summer, but the weather isn't the stores fault :) the prices were also great, I'm not rich, especially right now. I HIGHLY recommend walmart for these lamps. thanks walmart, I am so happy and now I want a few for myself! please carry more.
I bought this lamp for my daughter for Christmas. She loves it. The lamp does need to be on for a bit before the wax warms up. Once it does, it flows and works great. Unfortunately when moving it was dropped on a concrete floor and broke. My daughter was sooo upset I had to promise to buy her another.
Very happy with this Lava Lamp, but my kids are even more excited! I ordered two blue ones. Great buy overall!
bought this for my 6 year old son...unfortunately, the "lava" didnt actually flow and just sat on the bottom, occasionally sending a bubble up and right back down...ended up buying another one at a Walmart store that worked much better.
Lamps outer structure is fine, but the wax doesn't cool off and sink like it should. It always gets stuck at the top
Received my package on Tuesday from ups or FR es ex I OPENED IT UP AND THE LAVA LAMP WAS BROKEN .. GLASS WAS EVERY WHERE. I WILL BE RETURNING IT.
