This shampoo smells great and cleanses good without over drying the hair. Great for curly styles.

I have been using Creme of Nature for years and I can truly say that I have never been disappointed, clean the hair great and leave it smelling good and untangled.
I don't have kinky or matted hair but it is quite curly. This shampoo claims to detangle and condition as you lather but I got neither. My hair felt stripped of any moisture, shine, and soft texture. I never really GET tangles while washing my hair but this product dried it so much that it started to tangle in my fingers. If you're expecting this to work you may be disappointed. I cant imagine what the tangles would be like with kinky or matted hair. Save yourself $5 and buy something else.
Product claimed to be detangling, after using this product my hair became tangled and knotted I lost lots of hair working out the knots this product created.
