Well I was reluctant that was for sure I’m so used to using another brand! The other brand is gritty and has a very funky taste! Crest sensitivity with scope is amazing no nasty gritty ness nor nasty flavour!! Also didn’t burn my mouth either. My teeth were not sensitive while using either. I’m now converted. I am not a fan of "paste" tooth paste, I prefer gels but needed something for sensitive teeth. Crest Sensitivity not only works great on my sensitive teeth but also tastes great and has a whitening agent too. When I first tried Crest Sensitivity I wasn't sure how I felt about it. The consistency was a little strange, almost too thick. I decided to go ahead and give it some time. After about four days it was a lot better. I could tell my sensitivity decreasing and my mouth felt very clean. I've been using Crest Sensitivity Whitening Plus Scope Toothpaste for about a week now. I'm liking taste of it. It is not too harshly minted. I recently lost one of my fillings so my tooth has been extra sensitive but after using this toothpaste it has taken away most the sensitivity in that area. I see some whitening already! This toothpaste is great! I experience sensitivity especially with cold and this toothpaste really helps with that. The taste is very mild as well. Most sensitivity toothpastes don’t taste too great but this one is pleasant. My sensitivity hasn’t completely disappeared but with continued use, I see improvements on the horizon! Crest Sensitivity has a very soft taste, it cleans my teeth well, makes my breath fresh, and doesn't bother my teeth and gums. Also it has a flipping top which I love because it save me extra time in my morning rush. The price is considerably lower than others brands. I honestly prefer this toothpaste. I highly recommend this product and I keep going to buy it. Other plus is this toothpaste is manufactured in the U.S. it is important for me because I think the United States’s quality check is very effective. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I occasionally get teeth sensitivity and wanted to try something that would further prevent this. First off, I like the packaging of the stand-up bottle and flip cap. It has a good taste, especially with the added Scope to it. I haven't noticed any whitening, but my teeth feel good after using and my breath is fresher. For me, it leaves a slight numb feeling to my teeth. This helps prevent my sensitivity to cold drinks in particular. I drink coffee, so I'd have to use something in addition to this for whitening, but it helps with sensitivity. I would recommend it for that.
I think after using the toothpaste now for a couple weeks, I am able to weigh in and give a true assessment. On a day to day basis Crest is my go to for mouth hygeine. I have pros and cons I would like to share. The pros to using this new toothpaste is that It did give me relief with some of my most sensitive teeth. The flavor is nice and gentle, it doesn't have a strong taste and it doesn't burn. The cons were that my teeth didn't have that clean fresh feeling after brushing that I get from my regular toothpaste. I also noticed no difference with whitening of my teeth. One issue I ran in to a couple of times is that the top popped open and it hardened on the inside enough where I had to dig it out of the tube to continue using, so the tube may benefit to have a twist top instead. Overall I didn't see a big enough difference to change. I will continue using my Crest Complete. I would overall recommend to people looking for a toothpaste with very sensitive teeth.
