I tried one that is more paper (like paper towel texture) like and it stayed wet. This kind soaks ups better and their area stays cleaner.
Great for litter,I use for my skinny pig,I put soft bedding onto of this type as it is thick but great for absorbing.
i have used this brand since i got my hamster Spartacus about 5 months ago. He loves this bedding! he will bury himself in bedding. It does an awesome job at containing his odors ( his cage is in the same room as me) and absorbing any mess so its easy to clean out his cage when its time. as far as how long it lasts, ive only bought 2 bags of this size and the second bag, i just purchased a few days ago:)
love this bedding, so do my hamsters and my little piggies. But when you order from wal mart .com. check your bags careful I had a bag come to me taped and ripped open. thank god the store is going to exchange it for me.
Love the compact packaging and the amount of bedding in the pack. Breaks apart with ease once opened and covers a lot of ground. The bedding is a favorite of our two guinea pigs, Bella and Lucy!
Very good large bag of bedding. It worked very well for my Guinea pigs. They're cozy and it smells great! I'd recommend this bedding to anyone who has small rodents and wants a well priced, healthy bedding.

Very good for my bunnies. I've been trying very hard to find the dust. Free for my bunnies. Finally found it. They also sent enjoy it. I haven't had to clean up any accidents since switching to this. Some of the others, they would reject. But not this.
Critter care does the job of your on a tight budget. However if your keeping your rabbits litterbox nice and clean and smelling good - you will be changing the bedding twice as often - however if it's between paychecks or times are tough it's defin better than nothing - it's on the harder side and therefor it does not absorb urine like It should ans all the pellets of feces sink to the bottom of the litter box but again 6$ bs 12 $ it's better than nothing - I've used it when I couldn't afford the better stuff
