Lite is very bright, but yarn glides thru yarn very nicely.
I ordered 3 different sizes of these hooks, I really like them When I need just a little more light when I am crocheting. Otherwise I use my regular, metal hooks. The light is great but because the material of the hook is all plastic, it is a lighter in weight and the yarn does not "slide" as well on and off the hook. I will be purchasing several different sizes for Christmas gifts....
The hook is pretty nice. It has a couple design flaws, in my opinion, but overall, not bad. The light is very concentrated and a bit too bright coming out of the end of the hook and the power switch is right where I hold it, so that's not very comfortable.
I love this idea and will use from time to time but I use hooks for band looming as well as crochet and def with bands n even some thick yarn it bends VERY easy. That's my only complaint!! I can only craft at night when my fam is sleeping so I've been looking for a way to light my work (esp when using different color yarn n bands that d similar) and the light is perfect!!! I just don't want to break it!!!!
