Love it. Had gotten one from a Harriet Carter catalog years ago but couldn't find it there any more. Found it at Walmart for $10 less. Great picture storage.
This item was better than I had hoped. Besides all the room on the side for the 4X7's, it had a flat side for larger photos also. I love it and would recommend it to anyone with a lot of pictures.
I love my cropper hopper photo case. It holds tons of pictures and even holds 12x12 paper in a separate section. I now own 5 cropper hoppers. They are much cheaper than the Creative Memories photo holders.
I like many things about this product. I like the dividers and the fact that it doesn't hurt photos. My plan is to get all my pictures by year in these containers. Eventually I hope to scan them all into my computer. One of the other things I like is the handle on the box. In an emergency or fire I can grab these and get them out of the house fast and it helps knowing all my pictures are together.
I love that it is acid free. All my old photos have started to yellow so I have taken them out of the albums. This is great. I can keep them organized until I can get them in acid free scrapbooks! I will order more! I love the dividers, too.
The container is great for the loads of pictures that I have. However the internert shows the contairner with some type of compartment trays, but it only comes with dividers.
I was really needing to get my photos out of shoeboxes and I'm NOT a scrapbooker, so this was a great solution. It allowed me to organize my photos and keep them in a safer container. For the price, I was expecting a product of slightly higher quality, but this works. It holds tons of photos, but the little compartments will only accommodate 4x6 photos and smaller. This was frustrating because I have a lot of 5x7 photos; fortunately, there is a compartment that is for those larger photos, that particular compartment doesn't hold quite enough for my needs. I'm sure I could find a different hopper for my larger photos, but I was really wanting one container for all my photos... oh well, this is still a nice product and I'm glad I own it.
I had to return it because the top of the case was broken. It could have been damaged during shipment....not much protection and the top is plastic.
This would probably have gotten a better rating had I not opened it and the bottom corner (purple area) a decent size chunk was broke off. I ended up returning it and got the IRIS (sold on Amazon) photo box holders which arrived in good condition and with holders also for my pics. I did read another review where someone had the same problem but figured most were sending in good reviews so I thought I might be one of the lucky ones where it did arrive in good condition. It was packed good and even insulated well and arrived before it was suppose to which I gave it an extra star for.
I'll start by saying that I returned it. It came by UPS in a cardboard box and apparently the amount of impact caused by dropping it on my porch was enough to shatter the top in several places. And with lids that snapped on and off I could see lots of potential for cracking and breaking in its design. If you're someone who puts something in a box and never opens it again then maybe this is for you but probably not.
