I found some old records from my teenage years and wanted to see if they were usable. This record player allowed me to have a blast from the past without spending a lot of money. The record player was easy to use and the sound was great. The case was sturdy. Pleased with my purchase.
So far so good. The sound is great! I plan to add speakers for a bigger sound when desired. It was out the box and ready to go. I played a jazz record from my Dad's record collection that I haven't heard on vinyl in over 30 years!! Beautiful sound.... just lovely!!!
The turntable itself was fine. But Fedex made no attempt to deliver it to my door, they just left it sitting on the ground next my buildings mailboxes
The needle that comes with it is horrible, we bought porcelain needles and the different is amazing.
Love the color, super light weight and easy to carry. Disappointed you can't close the lid when playing a full size record. But the sound is t bad. Reminds me of childhood when mom played her records. I haven't hooked it to a Bluetooth speaker yet but I don't anticipate any problems.
Bought for a gift and it was a hit.... neat looking record player, easy to use, has bluetooth capability so used external bluetooth speaker as the sound from the player itself isn't necessarily hi-fi...(yes Hi-Fi, not wi-fi)... Crosley was always a good name in radio's back in the day, so it's nice to see that brand again...
Nice, simple record player.
I will preface my review by saying, the record player I bought still appeared to be sealed but did have a small hole in the box so it was yellow tagged. However, I'm returning it today as this one seemed to barely function as a record player in my opinion. It's redeeming factor is how portable it is, however it feels cheaply made and it seems like it would break easily if this one in fact wasn't already faulty. I've been around turntables and I didn't expect this to be an Audio Technica but I was afraid I might break something just by touching it too hard, while it seemed to have trouble spinning my brand new collector's edition Twenty One Pilots vinyl. Lastly, I ran it through my home stereo and the sound was absolutely flat. Strictly a version for someone with casual interest or loves to carry around a turntable. Others need bypass at all costs.
Gave this as a gift to my husband and he's just now opening it tonight and it won't power on. Not sure if it's the record player itself or the power adapter but that is very disappointing and embarrassing to have a product not work. My husband just had records delivered today and was very excited to play them and this happened smh I don't recommend this product whatsoever
I currently have three of these. The first was amazing for what I needed it for, but unfortunately was crushed during a move. My fault, understandable. I bought the second as a replacement, and while the volume works for the Bluetooth device, somehow it does not work for the turntable. Even when you port the sound to an external Bluetooth speaker. I was heartbroken. My husband brought me home a third one to try to make me feel better, and that one has no power. At all. Doesn't turn on or anything. I feel like I would have had better luck finding someone's castoff console turntable from the 80s at a resale shop. 😔😭 So disappointed.
