I used this bathroom product in a small closet to make a pantry. While the shelves are not very deep- it easily holds my extra food stuffs. Of course they are not sturdy shelving so I wouldn't recommend getting them to store food cans on, but small boxes and other things of that nature- its perfect for the job. I put it over a tupperware 3 drawer dresser. Simple to put together too. And i left the top off- didnt need or want the "decorative touch"
I just bought this yesterday for our tinny-tiny bathroom which only has a cabinet under a sink and no floor space whatsoever to put any shelves. It took me about 10 minutes to put the whole thing together. And I read in one of the reviews that last step may be pretty hard if you do not have enough space on the sides to put in the last bar. If your toilet is anything like ours ( my husband discovered this while I was struggling with that last bar) you can screw on that last bar before putting the rack in place. Then take of the lid of the water tank and slide the rack into place. Makes my bathroom look so much neater and organized :)
- easy to put together. - looks quite nice, in that Restoration Hardware kind of way, but minus their prices. - holds quite a bit of stuff. - totally changed our bathroom from being a cluttered mess to looking sleek and put-together. - and yeah, it could be prettier, but for the price? not complaining. it really is kind of cute.
My husband and I have a small bathroom... we were looking for a shelf that wasn't too fancy but that had a quality look and would provide us with the shelf space we needed, all while being able to fit over our apartment bathroom toilet (which usually is different from the toilets found in homes). When we reviewed this product for purchases I immediately liked the pearl-nickel finish and was pleased that this shelf unit (unlike most others we had reviewed) had 3 shelves instead of just 2. The price was also unbeatable. Walmart's shipping serviced delivered it fast and a few days later we were pulling it out of the box to install it. As far as installation, my husband and I began to put it together w/o looking at the instructions & it took us about 20+ minutes. All this to say, if we had looked at the instructions we could have been done in a little over 5 minutes! So read the very easy to read instructions first :) Also, we did end up using the two holes on the top pole which can be used to nail screws into the wall for further support. We wanted to be able to pile our heavy towels, and appliances on it so I suggest nailing it into the wall. Now that it is nailed it it is unmovable and will never knockdown; a feature we LOVE! However, this shelf is able to stand on its own if you want to put lighter items on the shelf; all a matter of personal preference! We were pleased that it set up beautifully and easily over our apartment designed toilet and it looks great! Definitely recommend this one to anyone looking for a great price and great storage space saver for those tinier bathrooms!
I love this spacesaver, it totally gave my bathroom the look I was looking for but did not even know it until it actually happen. My bathroom is so extremly small but it makes it more presentable now, I have received alot of complement sense placing it in the bathroom. Thanks walmart
We have a water saving toilet and they are taller so finding one of these was more difficult. This one is very tall and accomodates that kind of toilet. Our toilet flushes on the top as well and because this has a metal rack look you can still press the button. Semi sturdy alone but great when it was anchored to the wall. Great product - nice size shelves in width...all around good deal for the price.
I ordered this hoping that it would fit over my toilet that is taller than the normal size toilet. Unfortunately, the length from floor to the first shelf is not a given measurement so, I previously purchase a nice white wooden cabinet that wouldn't work for me :( This however, worked perfect! It's cheap and not beautiful but it works and once you put stuff on it, you really can't see much of it anyway.
I purchased two of these recently after reading several reviews on it. Both of my bathrooms are small with no shelving for towels. This item was just what I needed for both bathrooms. It holds my towels and is not in the way. Great item.
I bought this product for our bathroom, there wasnt enough room for all our stuff under the sink. So I thought I could put towls on it and save some room. I started putting this thing together at 1:05pm and was not finished until 3:45pm!!! Followed the directions to the T...the stupid bars would not fit together, holes wouldnt line up, nothing worked together like it was supposed too. Finally after making openings bigger, and making the holes bigger and A LOT of pounding I finally got it together. Its flimsy as heck and does not hold as much as I thought. In my opinion, dont waste your money on this, cause it is definitely not worth it!
This thing is horrible... the holes for the shelves are way off and dont line up... and the legs are as wide as a sharpe marker... As u can see from the pic here is what i thought of it....
