After using an old waffle maker for years, I finally replaced it with Cuisinart's Belgian waffle maker, and I love it. It makes large waffles, is easy and fast to use, and so easy to clean.
What a nice Belgium waffle maker. So easy to use, so easy to clean, and it is now husband approved! You know when you have a good product when all your friends want to know what brand you brought.
Love this waffle iron! Non-stick as advertised, worked well for waffles & also made waffle cookies in it; worked great!
We purchased this waffle maker after our old one finally didn't work any more. The design and set up of how light or dark the waffles are made is easy to understand. The waffles are larger than our old one but we like them better. We really like that we can now store it standing up.
Great waffle maker if you need to feed multiple people. Heats quickly, cooks consistently, and can quickly knock out a breakfast for four in minutes. Latches closed, and stands on its side, which great for storage in tight spaces. Would definitely recommend to anyone with big families.
We love this waffle maker! With indicator lights to let you know when it it ready and also when the waffles are done, along with a meter that lets you choose the crispness of the waffle, it is complete in our book on the way to perfect waffles! Thank you Cuisinart!
I love this waffle maker. I haven’t owned one in years. I made perfect waffles on the first attempt by using the third setting. It’s easy to use and easy to cleanup and store.
Like the standup storage feature and quality of product. Easy to operate but would have like to have a simple on/off switch while unit is plugged in and a retractable electrical code. I did find it unusual that there was no "beep" sound once waffle was done. You had to be careful to watch for the light to turn from Red to Green when desired degree of firmness is reached.
I like the feature that allows you to set how long the waffles cook and the light that pops on when the waffle is done. So far everything has been working great. If I had anything to complain about it would be that this waffle iron is very large. I can go through a double batch of batter making two and a quarter waffles. Since I use pure Vermont maple syrup I won't complain 😉
After having and using it for a month, I have come to like this waffle maker, but with some differences that are not good. Number one, is that the machine can only be turned on or off, by plugging it in, pulling it out. Short of not having a toggle switch or a rocker switch, it just seems a little strange to have to do that each and every time. nd of course you will have to be a little careful on where you let the cord lay. Number two, is the slider bar to determine the lightness or darkness of said waffles. It will take some trail attempts to get it where you like it, and the slider has no stops or clicks to let you keep it at that certain spot. The plates heat up within minutes, maybe two. The plates clean up really nice, and quick. You will have to have trial runs to see how well the batter fills out the plate(s), to understand the fullness of the waffle and how easy or hard they are to remove from the plate. I have used a strong plastic fork, but even then, I had to put a finger to help left them off the plate, but that may be because of the kind of batter I am using. It's a 4 slice waffle maker, of which each one is 4.5 inches square. The machine is a little on the heavy side. I hope to get a lot of use from it, over the years.
