Cuisinart does not disappoint. This waffle maker is the best. The waffles come out perfect.
I shopped for months for a waffle iron, before finally settling on this one for feature, brand, & price considerations, as well as the reviews I had seen. Though I had originally thought I wanted a larger, four-square so that I could use it to cook two sandwiches at a time, after making a couple rounds of waffles & realizing how much batter this entails, I am actually glad that I have gone with this one. It heats up well, makes crispy & evenly cooked waffles, and they release easily, leaving a unit which can be simply wiped of excess oil once it cools. While I have yet to make yeasted waffles, I have made cornbread waffles with chorizo, buttermilk waffles, lemon poppyseed, carrot cake, and chai-spiced.
Love the features like the temperature control and the audible tone sound when the waffle maker is ready for batter, and again when the waffle is done. I didn't have these features on my previous waffle maker. It matches nicely with all my other stainless steel appliances.
So happy with this waffle iron..made waffles and grill cheese sandwich so far & impressed with their crunching. Looking to try Belgium liege waffles next which is why I really purchased the appliance. Easy to clean and doesn't need much spraying with oil for release. Heat Dial seems to work well as well as the green light letting you know when along with a beep. Only negative is it seems as if steam is escaping on one side but haven't noticed it affecting what I am cooking. Does sit upright when not in use which allows it to require less space which is a REAL plus. Just wish it had some kind of locking mechanism to secure the top when stored as it wants to open up when stored. Maybe a large rubber band can be used. Will try it
Perfect waffles. Perfectly browned, crispy on the outside and tender inside. Non-stick and easy to wipe clean. Any morning is a Sunday brunch with the ease of this Cuisinart Waffle Maker.
Needed a new waffle maker, decided upon this one for easy to use features and simple design. I really like that it beeps when it is up to temp and beeps when the waffle is done. The ONLY complaint, please DON'T put the large sticker on the top, if you need to do so, I suggest a easy peel and no residue.
It's compact for easy storage. It's very easy to use and determine how well you'd like to have your waffles done from the settings available. It's a great little waffle maker.
It browns the bottom of the waffle to a golden brown but the top color is irregular and not the same the bottom. It would be nice if the grates were removable for cleaning.
I really hoped for a perfect waffle maker. I have used this one 3 times now since i purchased. It looks nice, ther3s no damage and the alert.goes off when the waffle iron is hot and when the waffle is finish3d cooking. I have tried different settings. One of the settings was too hot and burned the.waffle and the ither ones i have used seem to cook the waffle uneven. The edges are light and the center is browned. I really wish they would come out crisp without being burned and browed everywhere including the edges. I giess id be better off with a waffle iron that you flip so it cooks more even. Wish i wouldve known this before wasting 50 plus dollars in it.
The waffle iron had a hot spot that burned every waffle. The setting was 3.
