It's the thoughtful details that I really appreciate: The suction cup feet that hold it firmly to any smooth surface, which gives me confidence to use its considerable power. The parts that snap together quickly, and are easy to store because they are designed to nest together. The fact that it's solid, but not overly heavy. This is the third Cuisinart food processor I have owned. The first one was 25 years old before I had to replace it. The second one still works great, but it's a 12-cup model and I don't need one that large these days. This 7-cup model is the perfect size. But there's something else that impresses me even more. It's obvious that Cuisinart is investing in design and engineering. Of the three machines I've owned, this one is the most impressive. It's so rare to find a brand that gets better with every model — I highly recommend this perfect food processor!
This is the second time I've bought a Cuisinart food processer. My original one was 25 years old and still working, but I wanted a newer model with the same capacity. I like the improvements with how the cover clips on, and the holding station for unused blades. This product is easy to use, reduces my time in the kitchen, and cleans up great. Highly recommend!
This is my second 7-cup Cuisinart Food Processor. I've had the first one for many years - maybe more than 20. It worked beautifully until I tried to make bread dough in the processor and burned out the motor. This model works as well as my first. The improvement comes in the storage system. The way all the parts can be stacked inside the bowl is ingenious. It is far superior to the old ways with separate strage which took up more space in my cupboard. If I had had the space, I would have bought the 14-cup model which would exponentially increase my uses. As it is, I bring out my 7-cup often for quick slicing and dicing. It takes the drudgery out of food prep chores.
Nothing says summer like pasta with fresh pesto shared with family on the patio. My new 7-cup food processor is going to be in heavy use as long as I can find fresh basil.... and then I will experiment with sun dried tomatoes, cilantro and pecans. I have not used the grater yet, but cheese souffles are in the near future! I love the new addition to my kitchen.
This machine is a joy to use. It is powerful, and it slices and grates items like a dream. I love the clever compact storage solution too. I gave my old Cuisinart to my son two years ago because I purchased a Vita mix and thought I could get by with that alone. I gave up after two years and bought the new cuisinart, and I am so glad I did!
My new Cuisinart 7 cup food processor is such a help with food prep. It makes preparing meals fun. It chops everything super fast. It's a great size to keep on the kitchen counter, it doesn't take up a lot of precious countertop space. It's easy to use with just a push of a button & very sleek looking. It's also easy to clean. I love this product & would highly recommend to anyone thinking about purchasing a food processor.
A perfect size for smaller households. A perfect size to keep on your counter all the time since it really doesn't take up much space and all the pieces store inside so you won't scramble around looking for pieces. Very easy to use.
Sturdy and performs well. I've used it a few times now with absolutely no problem. Everything stores well when it's put. I would like the designers to consider finding a way to make the blade that sits at the bottom a little easier to remove when in the midst of taking ingredients out of the processing bowl Mine won't move at all, and I have to work my spatula around the blade Not the best design But other than that, I'm very pleased
I've only used this food processor twice—for homemade hummus & homemade buttermilk biscuits but it's been impressive! I would have given it 5***** if it came with a cookbook & had been available in black as well as white.
This is my fifth Cuisinart food processor. I loved each one so I continued to upsize, passing down other models to my children. My last Cuisinart (a very large model that can do practically anything except cook the dinner) was just too complicated for what I do most days and storing all the parts takes up a lot of room. Thus I purchased the small 7-cup model. The machine is very noisy and light. It does not adequately pulverize ice when I make my drinks in it. However, it is fine for shredding and slicing small amounts. It is easy to clean and store.
