The first bit of praise goes to the instructions. They very easy to follow and absolutely perfect. Congrats to the Author. Next is it's very easy to use and worked perfectly after assembly. Last is it made my best pork should to date. Yum!
We got the smoker a week ago and smoked a brisket! It was very easy to keep the temp even and the brisket was juicy! I can't wait to try ribs and chicken in it next!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Great instructions, easy to follow, had it all put together while watching football on TV. One thing I am not thrilled about is the closed position of the door handles. I would prefer the down position to be closed, instead of horizontal.
I love my Cuisinart Smoker. Easy to setup and works great. Would recommend.to anyone that loves to BBQ. Have used mine a number of times. Get one and enjoy.
Well made and easy to use. I have had 2 others and this one is the best.
Did baby backs in this the next day after getting it. Turned out perfect. Wish the water tray was bigger, but they include an additional tray to place on the bottom rack.
Excellent smoker. Has been such a pleasure to finally find a smoker which fits well on my lanai and produces such great results! Price was right, too. Once more Cuisinart has produced a great product.
Step one: Assembly. The smoker took a little more than an hour to put together out of the box. Parts are all well packaged and once together creates a good quality product. My only complaint is that the fasteners can be a little challenging to get out of the packaging. Power tools definitely make things go faster. Step 2: Smoking. Smoker is easy to use and has lots of room for food. Takes some getting used to, but I assume that is the same for all smokers. Doors take a bit of adjustment to get to seal well, but overall the smoker is fairly intuitive to use and propane requires less intervention than wood or charcoal. Overall a good basic smoker. This product is not the quality I consider Cuisinart. It is made from thin flexible metal. The product was damaged when received with major dent and bends. The door is crooked. With that said it still works pretty well after I had to bang out the dents and bends myself since Cuisinart (or the manufacturer that actually made this) will not cover these items. Getting the temperature high above 200 degrees in the smoker is tricky. I did best when I turned the smoker on without the water/wood tray and lets the body warm up first then put the water and wood chip tray inside. Then you should be pretty good. I do not think this is Cuisinart quality. I'm still a Cuisinart fan since I know that Cuisinart didn't actually make this product but partnered with the manufacturer that did. I would not get it but if you do it'll get the job done but not at the quality experience you would expect from Cuisinart.
