I have a small panini press, but I wanted one that I could put two Cuban sandwiches on without being too crowded. The Griddler Elite was my perfect selection. I try to buy everything Cuisinart because they never let me down and last four years. The plates take about five minutes to get hot but then they stay hot and I can cook two sandwiches every four minutes. So easy to clean, I just have to take a paper towel and wipe it off and it's ready to go for next time. I would highly recommend spending the extra money to buy the Elite.
Wore out my previous Griddler by using it so much. Looked at other brands but couldn't make the switch after the great experience with previous Griddler. I like the digital display and timer built in. I heartily recommend the Cuisinart Griddler Elite - it's simply the best you can guy!!
Perfect! I do most of my cooking on it. Plus it's easy to use and clean.
Good quality efficient and looks great in the kitchen. I recommend getting this product.
Perfect replacement for my old panini press. Mine bit the dust and I was very worried I wouldn't find one to replace it. This one even better than my old one. Just the drip tray alone was a major upgrade, mine left a mess on the counter. Ability to independently control the heat seatings of the top and bottom plates. The size is a little larger than my old one, but that's a plus as well for me. We use this at least 2-3 times a week, so it gets a work out.
This is my first indoor grill, And I'm 100% satisfied with this product. Very easy to use!! ... very stylish, blends perfectly with my kitchen appliances, durable quality. Removable plats can easily be washed either in dishwasher or with sponge. I will recommend this product to everyone that loves to make sandwiches, grilling and making breakfast (pancakes, bacon and eggs) .
This was a great purchase. Controls are simple to use even for an old guy. We have prepared several paninis to perfection and I'm not sure that I will ever have a regular sandwich again. This is also a very hefty and appears well made machine. We have also cooked hamburger steaks during single digit weather and they came out perfect using included instructions.
I was unaware, the griddler elite existed. After receiving, and cooking a steak on my new toy, husband and I were amazed. I'm a good cook but husband is the best grill master. But with my griddler elite . He can playstation 5 I can griddler a steak
I love the features and how this unit cooks food. I've had it a couple of weeks now and am beginning to wonder about the quality and design/engineering of the product. The 1st thing I've noticed is the mechanism that support the top griddle being only on one side causes the lid to be lower on one side than the other. The lid is too heavy to be supported only on one side. The next thing I've noticed is a heat crack on the front panel right next to the lower griddle. But my wife and I love this griddle.
After a couple of weeks worth of use I can safely say that I am glad I bought this, however there are places where Cuisinart could have done better and made the perfect griddle. First, if you are used to a big griddle and are cooking for a family, this is not the griddle for you, look for something else. What you have is basically two small griddles that happen to be attached. If Cuisinart had made the griddle surfaces three inches longer each, it would have been much better. A griddle bigger is always better. Temperature control, once again Cuisinart could have gotten it right and blew it. On the grill side of he cooking plates there is the opportunity to have made a surface that heated evenly. Did Cuisinart do this? Of course not. They gave us one heating element around the center of the plate when it would have been simple enough to run an element across the whole plate on the grill side, then you would have even heating across the cooking surface. There is as much as 50 degrees difference from one area of the plate to the other. Another miss that should have been obvious. The cord is only a couple of feet long. Cuisinart must think all of our kitchens are perfectly laid out with plugs in exactly the right spot. A longer cord would have been nice. Now this may sound harsh and yes I am only giving it three stars, but I will say this. It's easy to clean, it does everything they say it will do and it does it well. Am I glad I bought it, yeah I think so. I rated it the way I did because Cuisinart had the chance to make the perfect griddle and blew it.
